I have finally got round to coding the basics of Star Flight: Star Rogue, I have initially chosen Dark Basic Pro to test it with as Star Flight 2000 was coded in Dark Basic 1.13.
If that test doesnt go the way I think it should I will try recoding it in BlitzMax using MiniB3d.
Early DBPro tests show the same results as DB Classic (just faster) this should will be the platform of choice for the new Star Rogue game.
I will post more when I have it, what I want is basically to have the entire game completed. Not in the unfinished state the original SF2000 was in, also I want to add a dynamic galaxy model so it will give the game a much greater feel to it (ie more planets at the galactic core and less or none on the outer edges).
