With 90 members now, I'm just curious as to where you all found out about HPU and what brought you here. I know quite a few of you are carry=overs from HOL/HUG...but I'm just curious about the newer registrations I've gotten. I want to know what is and isn't working...*hehehe*

I was at HUG way at the beginning, before it had been approved by HOL. Way back when it was on ProBoards. So, yeah, that's where I came from.

From HOL. I discovered HUG, and made a mental note to register, but in about a week there was an announcement that it will be closed ::(:, and in it there was a link to here, so here I am! :smile:

I wasnt sure whether to pick HOL/HUG or word of mouth because Marie Thenes told me, but it was in the HOL gryff common room...hehe so I just chose HOL/HUG

I was in HOL's when i found out about HUG it but i can't remember how i found out about it now i think it was a post in the Gryff common room. :wacko: So when HUG closed, here i am now.

Hmmm Charisse brought me to HOL ...which went to HUG and now here!! I like this a whole lot better than HOL though... :lmao:

I heard about HUG from HOL, but didn't sign up at the time because I thought I wasn't good at RPG. *laughs* Then, HUG closed and was changed to HPU. One night, Felicia and Virginia were talking about it in #Hufflepuff. So, after getting jealous after hearing them talk about it, I registered! :)

It was Fe!!! She did it, she brought me here, dont hurt me....oh.....your asking a question....okay. No, I met Feronia Ardantane (*spelling). on another forum and she introduced me. thanks Fe!!!!!!

my sister was on HUG and she's a member here. she was having waaaaaaaaaaay too much fun on it so I made her help me sign up! :biggrin:

There was a post from Alazair/Angelus or Adrienne (can't really remember which...?) in the CR about it being a trial run and that they needed members, so after a while of contemplating it I registered and have been here since. *shrugs*

Was brought to HUG by Sindor, which brought me closed to the GH bunch, which got me in the center of the HUG/HPU transition, which brought me to HPU.

You all don't see me that often, because I rarely post, but I am working behind the scenes making sure everything works the way it should =)

Anyhoo. I looked through the InvisionFree Directory after adding my site and thought this place might be good. I joined and I'm glad cos it's cool. Though it needs a few more active members. Nevertheless. This place is cool.

I went on the directory and clicked on Gaming:RPG and then scrolled down, clicked on it, registered, then became active.

Well Virginia told me bout this place. She told be bout HOL, tryed it, didn;t like it too much then she came here and told me bout it so I decided to give it a try.

My sister told me to come here, She is a a member but I can't say who she is, or anything about yet.

I had joined, like, 58664320 RPG advertising communities on LJ, looking for a good original character one. HPU is the first (And so far, only.) one I found. :smile:

I was just sort of wandering. I hears someoen mention RP in my class and it just sort of got me interested. So I decided to try an Online RP and i wound up here. I Like the HP series so I think it's going to be a lot of fun. But I'm sort of new to RPing so if I do something stupid please forgive me....

Sure, I know the basics and stuff. I sort of write stories and RPing is a lot like that, just with more people. The most fun though has to be creating the character. I had a blast creating Nydia :happy:

I found HPU through my brother, who would still be here if he didn't p*** off to Durmstrang. I think HPU is great, by the way.

I find this place through my friend James...he's character is Drakeon or something like that. I saw him reading Harry Potter in spanish class. And some how HPU came up...odd.

I joined 'cause it's better than most RPGs I join. which is a compliment by the way.

My brother had been checking it out. I wanted to get on the computer, so I wrestled him out of the computer chair. I saw he was looking a Harry Potter RP site so I checked it out a little more. I really liked what I saw so I joined. SO not really from word of mouth, but more from sibling rivelry! Heehee. I think he may join, because I told him the site he tipped me off about was good and he just glared at me (which is a very good sign), so yeah.

My friend gave me a link to an RP directory, and this was on the first page so I checked it out and decided to join. (this was the first RP I joined, by the way, and now I'm in several others.)

I was searching on the Invisionfree.com boards directory and found it here...
