Title: Locations?
Description: just curious
Jenny Paveo - June 14, 2005 09:21 PM (GMT)
Hello everyone, I've been wondering for a while where all the people I'm posting with come from. I just think it would be so cool if I found out one Jenny's friends on HPU was from my city. I know, it's not that likely, but hey, it could happen. (Of course I mean people from my city other than friends who brought me here) Basically finding out which countries people are from would be interesting. I'm only going to say my country and not my city for safety purposes. I am from Canada. And NO we don't live in igloos, and NO there isn't still snow here. And NO I don't see polar bears everyday. Lol just had to clear that up. So, where is everyone else from? Care to share a little about you're country or province/state or town?
Jenny~

Hey I live in Newfoundland. YAY.
Dracona N. Illinean - June 15, 2005 12:02 PM (GMT)
Ooh, that's cool. I live in the heart of New York City... And while I've never lived anywhere else, I've been just about everywhere in Europe except Spain and Scotland. But I'm going to Scotland this summer, so never mind about that.
Rose Zoinkousky - June 15, 2005 07:17 PM (GMT)
Hey im from Morden, Manitoba. I wanna move to England, unfortunately i cant because i have no money......Siiiiiiiiiigggggghhhhhh. toodles
Jenny Paveo - June 16, 2005 12:40 AM (GMT)
I've been just about everywhere in Europe except Spain and Scotland.
That is the best. I want to go to Europe soo bad. What's New York like? And Europe?
Dracona N. Illinean - June 16, 2005 03:50 AM (GMT)
New York-
Ask me later. Really.
Europe... some places are really wet, others are really warm... It's quite varied, I found, but I've only been there in the summer and late spring, so my answer may be biased.
... I think I liked Austria best, but it's hard to say since I was tlast there years ago.
Prof. Alyson Hill - June 16, 2005 05:11 AM (GMT)
I'm from Tucson, AZ, and as far as I know, I'm the only one here in the region.
I agree that the Germany/Austria area of Europe is just lovely! It's all so green and cool and rainy and CLEAN! Germany is a wonderful country.
Alyson Weasley - June 16, 2005 05:50 AM (GMT)
:D I love Germany. Definitely the best part of Europe.
And I'm from Wisconsin.. Where we raise, chop, and eat cows. Hehe, just kidding. Well, we do, but I don't.. It's so mean!! But yea, land of the cheese. That's me!
Mara Blackwood - June 16, 2005 12:48 PM (GMT)
Rose!!!! You're the one from Morden!!!!
I'm from Winnipeg and I've been practically no where other than around Canada and the States.
Rose Zoinkousky - June 16, 2005 05:23 PM (GMT)
YAY!!! ive never travelled ANYWHERE..........well there was this one time when i was 7 or somethin and me and my family drove to London, Ontario but thats about it.......lol
Prof. Sarah Kerrigan - June 16, 2005 06:19 PM (GMT)
*been around Europe, loves Austria the best*
I'm in Canada too, in Ontario to be exact, but I was born in Europe, and no, not in Austria. And I saw a bear once in summer camp...kinda scary.
Acacia Callisto - June 16, 2005 07:20 PM (GMT)
Sadly, I'm from Rhode Island, USA.
Do you have any idea how much I want to go to some of those countries?! Italy, Egypt, and England are the top three on my list .. Aahh. Can't wait until I'm of age and can go anywhere without the chain my parents keep tugging on. > <
Kievan Tao Ordlay - June 16, 2005 08:07 PM (GMT)
I really can't understand why so many people say they'd love to visit England, it really isn't that wondeful. I mean, being a brit myself, our country is obviously the BEST one (yay for patriotism!) but, its really not worth the hype.
ooh, unless you go to alton towers. that places rocks!
:( we havent had much summery weather yet.. and some shops are already advertising their new autumn range of clothes O_o
Driana Nalswith - June 16, 2005 09:19 PM (GMT)
Hi. I'm from a small town in Texas, USA. I've been some places in the US but never gotten to leave the country. *sighs* That is one of my goals for when I actually have some money. *laughs*
Jenny Paveo - June 16, 2005 09:33 PM (GMT)
Okay. Seriously. I totally wish I could go to Italy and Europe and Austria and all those places you guys are talking about!! Grrr... Oh well someday I'll travel to those places...sometime...
Joseliel De Montroi - June 16, 2005 11:06 PM (GMT)
I'm from Australia... And surprisingly there arent many Aussies on this site... Unless I'm mistaken!
Shanice Lambaggo - June 17, 2005 12:28 AM (GMT)

I donno also why people get all excited about England. I think it's nice, but all my friend that've been there say that 2-3 days around London is all you need.
And I've never been to US...would be nice just to visit and look around.
Dracona N. Illinean - June 17, 2005 01:33 PM (GMT)
I was at England... If I went back, I wouldn't mind, but I don't necessarily make it a priority.
This is reminding me of my... KENTUCKY TRIP! Yay!!!
...
NOOOOOOOO I never could get that litle wooden kiwi bird from the New Zealanders... *is sad*
Eavend Lunarius - June 17, 2005 07:36 PM (GMT)
I refuse to give out the state I live in due to paranoia  but I will say I live in New England, in the US. I really want to go to Iceland though; I think that place is awesome... or Ireland, I've a lot of Irish in me and Ireland is cool too... or the Faroe Islands... or Alaska... okay, lots of places.
Dracona N. Illinean - June 18, 2005 12:01 AM (GMT)
*evil grin*
I think I know what state you live in, Eavend...
Eavend Lunarius - June 18, 2005 12:14 AM (GMT)
I can neither confirm nor deny any guesses.

Yeah I knew that, thanks though Shanice. Lol yeah I was just saying that those are the two main places I want to go to and then I want to go to just all over Europe in general.
And Josi, that rocks that you're from Australia. Do us Canadians sound funny to you? Yeah I know that's a stupid question but I think Australians have the coolest accents ever so I was just wondering if my 'accent' sounds cool.
Vincent Caldwell - June 19, 2005 11:17 PM (GMT)
I'm a Virginian . . . .(How fun?!) It's quite boring here but we have such a wealth of history. (Note sarcasm) The funnest place I ever lived in the state was in D.C. )Technically that's not in Virginia or MAryland . . .)
Prof. Breena Brightheart - June 20, 2005 02:53 AM (GMT)
Why was I thinking that Sarah Kerrigan was from the Ukraine? Or is that where Annie Black is from? *confused*
Anyway. I'm from South Carolina. Hot and boring as hell.
Vincent Caldwell - June 20, 2005 04:58 AM (GMT)
**nods agreeing with bree** I've been to SC and NC. both are pretty boring . . .
Prof. Breena Brightheart - June 20, 2005 11:33 AM (GMT)
Yeah, about the only things going for either NC or SC are the mountains in the upstate, and of course, the beaches.
Unfortunately, I'm about halfway between both in SC. And in a small hick town, no less. >__< That's about as dull as you can get.
No wonder I have no life! :bleh:
Mara Blackwood - June 20, 2005 01:10 PM (GMT)
Ooooo. I've been to NC. I liked it. Maybe 'cause it's such a big change from up here. I really liked the Redwoods!

Then you don't live far from me! I think you told me where you live, a long time ago? Last summer I think? Oh well. New England isn't really fantastic. Well, Rhode Island isn't really fantastic. =/
Alyson Weasley - June 21, 2005 10:17 PM (GMT)
Wisconsin is so boring. Any of you ever been there? Besides the malls, it sucks.
Mara Blackwood - June 22, 2005 03:48 AM (GMT)
OOOOHHHH!!! CAROLINA!!!! I was thinking you said California....
Prof. Breena Brightheart - June 23, 2005 12:05 AM (GMT)
Heh. I was wondering... 'cause last I checked, there are no redwoods in North Carolina. :erm: :bleh:
Jenny Paveo - June 23, 2005 01:29 AM (GMT)
Hey Alyson...You wouldn't happen to be a certain Medea Shasta from AU would you?
Alyson Weasley - June 23, 2005 04:42 AM (GMT)
Nope. I'm Mia/Aubrey/Lakeesha/Joe/Beverly from AU. :D I'm Medea's friend, though. We're Wisconsionites.
Vincent Caldwell - June 23, 2005 04:55 AM (GMT)
Prof. Lex Malfoy - June 24, 2005 03:12 PM (GMT)
I'm from Michigan, and trust me, Bree and whoever else was saying the Carolina's were boring, it has to be better than Michigan. All we have are cars and the Great Lakes...which aren't that great.
February Redamsule - June 25, 2005 02:48 AM (GMT)
I'm from Massachusetts. Marlborough to be exact. How much you want to bet you've never heard of it?
Jetta St John - June 26, 2005 04:56 AM (GMT)
Actually, one of my best friends has family there.
Australia, to be exact. Though, I am looking to get out. Why? I want to travel the world! Otherwise, Australia's great.
Tobias Peters-Ewan - July 5, 2005 07:04 PM (GMT)
I'm from Sevenoaks in UK. I can say though that there really isn't that much here. Really. I'd love to go to New England in the US though. I've been to Wisconsin too, but only driving through it. We have relatives there.
