Family Information: Her sister, Keti, is twenty-two and lives in Hogsmeade. She works with unicorns, and (with special permission from the Ministry) a dragon. Her parents live over in the States, where they run a broom shop.

Hometown: Eavend is originally from Hogsmeade. She moved to the United States when she was nine, and then moved back to England to attend Hogwarts.

Physical Description: Eavend is about five foot seven, with a slim build. Her eyes are ice-blue, and her hair is a medium brown, though some people say it's blond in the summer. She usually wears it in a ponytail that hangs down to the base of her shoulderblades.

Psychological Description: She seems quiet, but if you start making fun of someone you're going to know she's there. Eavend absolutely cannot stand jerks, and if you are one prepare to hear from her. She's slow to make new friends, afraid that she'll get made fun of again. She also has an unfortunate tendency to hold grudges against people, though she doesn't really let it interfere with her life. Eavend generally prefers solitude to large crowds of people, though she's not exactly isolationist. She just happens to not be very outgoing. She also seems to have some leadership abilities hidden away within her, though she had no idea that she was capable of leading other people before becoming head of the D.A. (She's still not sure, actually.)

History: Eavend lived in Hogsmeade until she was eight. She encountered a lot of jerks at the Little Magicians school there. For some reason, people thought it was a good idea to try and wreck her day as much as they could. Reluctantly following her parents' advice, she joined the kid's Quidditch team, and of course all of the jerks in school were there too. Fortunately, the coach let her become a Beater, so she got to hit all of the bludgers towards the gits.

Her parents moved the family to the States to open a broom shop when she was nine, to open up a broom shop and try and develop new brooms. School there wasn't much better for Eavend; she was too scared to try and make friends, and tried hard not to be noticed. She was very quiet, and therefore, a target. One day, when she was ten, she was flying an old broom that she had retrieved from the back room of her parents' shop, and some idiot started making fun of it and her. After six years of continually being a target for insults, Eavend finally snapped, beating the kid over the head with the broom. He had to go to the hospital for a concussion, and Eavend was expelled from school. Not that she was duly unhappy about it.

Needless to say, her parents were not too pleased, but unsurprised that their daughter had finally hurt someone. In fact, they told the teachers the truth: if they didn't want this to happen, they should have kept people from making fun of her in the first place. The school wasn't too happy with that. She didn't get grounded or anything, and her sister was extremely pleased. After that, Eavend didn't have too many problems. Last year her sister moved back to Hogsmeade to raise unicorns and a dragon with special permission from the MoM. Her parents decided to send Eavend to live with her, because she needed to go to Hogwarts anyhow, and she'd at least have someone to stay with over the holidays.
