This is proably the best series of RPG's I've ever played. What are you're opinions on FF?

FF is really good but I'm not as into it as other people. I like Square's neglected series a lot more, like Chrono, Mana and SaGa. FF6 was my favorite FF followed by 10, 9, then 4...I think 7 was mediocre and 8 was crap.

FF is awsome!!! I love it. I just beat FFX. And I've beaten FFVIII before. They're comming out with a FFX2, I can't wait! Except, it looks kinda wierd, Yuna has a Gun gah, and their outfits are kinda <_<..... Anyways, I heard that FFXI was a dissapointment, has anyone played that?

The Seiken Densetsu series is my fav by Squaresoft. My fav Final Fantasy games so far has to be IX.

Final Fantasy, my cup of tea friend. I have beaten every final Fantasy game made except Ten, of which I am currently playing, I have just reached the Calm Lands for the first time by the way. If you have any questions about FF, ask away, I have beaten all, remember most, and failed to master none.

I really have beaten em all, the worst is Mystic Quest, a disgrace...

What is people's problem with Mystic Quest? They judge it like a REAL Final Fantasy, but many games with "Final Fantasy" in their title are NOT a REAL Final Fantasy UNLESS 1) the title is "FINAL FANTASY" and NOTHING else or 2) the title is "FINAL FANTASY" followed by a NUMBER and nothing else.
Final Fantasy Adventure = Seiken Densetsu AKA Secret of Mana 0
Final Fantasy Legend = SaGa = Series before Romancing SaGa or SaGa Frontier
Final Fantasy Tactics = Square strategy/rpg hybrid spinoff of Tactics Ogre, with FF title slapped on and Cloud as a secret character
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest = supposedly American attempt at a Japanese-esque RPG, it's simple and most closely related to Final Fantasy Legend 3 (AKA SaGa 3)
FFMQ ISN'T a bad game, you'd realise that if you didn't compare it to the main FF series; it's an enjoyable, simple, quite easy little RPG, but compared to games like Drakkhen, it's king.

You're right, they are'nt really FF games, but when you see the title "Final Fantasy", you come to expect certain standards...As a standalone game, yeah, MQ would do OK, but as a FF game, No, crash and burn.
And Kitsu, I really am 13 and really do max at 165 on the bench. And I really AM 6 foot 1 too. I should try and get a pic of myself sometime, but my scanner's on the fritz at the moment. iggy - February 27, 2003 11:20 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I guess MQ wasn't that bad. It's just that I went right from FF3 to playing MQ and its over-simplistic battle system. Otherwise it is an average beginner's RPG.
