Title: Got Zoo Tycoon

I've wanted this game for a long time, but didn't get it because I didn't have sound. Then when Panda suggested I try plugging headphones into the back of my computer, I realized I could hear sounds from PC games as well.
Anyway, when I first popped it in I thought it would be slow and lame, but the more I got into it, the more addicted I got. You can only select a few animals to start with, but as you build your zoo and time passes, more animals, buildings, etc. will be unlocked.
And the tutorials are actually kind of cool. They managed to inject some humor. For instance, at one point they tell you to delete the fences around the lions' exhibit. They say "We know this sounds crazy, but trust us, we know what we're doing." Then when you do that, they say "We hope you learned an important lesson: Never trust the people who write tutorials." ROFL!
And the first time I started my real zoo, I turned some Bengal Tigers loose on people just for kicks. :P
But eventually, your workers will trap them in boxes.
Not a bad game. I would definately recommend it to animal lovers like Bijou. Or if you just like sim type games you should consider adding this to your collection.

I love Zoo Tycoon ^^ But when i get lions they breed and breed and breed, I started with 3 males and 3 females, and now I have 120 about @_@ But yes, I agree with Oxy, this game will indeed give you hours and hours of fun. Bwhahaha, attack the people my lions, ATTACT! er... *walks away slowly*

You can always sell them Bijou. As a matter of fact, you'll want to do that before they explode of old age. I noticed it doesn't take long for some animals to explode of old age, so I figured it's better to sell them and at least get some money.
Right now, my zoo consists of:
Bengal Tigers
Zebras and Gazelles
Chimpanzees
Penguins
White Bengal Tigers

Heh, I didn't know animals can "explode." What? It's the censors that are doing it? Aw hamsticks!
I did see the commercial for Zoo Tycoon though. It was rather interesting.

Let's see if it is the censors.
explode explode explode

Yup, the "d" word is censored.

I've always wondered why.
