i never brought up the fact that i liked hamtaro but someone else that i no did she started making fun of it i should have said how i like it but i didnt i kept my mouth shut pretending i was ignoring her

I am not very open if someone at school or even at home asks me if I like Hamtaro, the truth is I love it! But I dont tell anyone due to they may laugh or something worse. =O .So I ask you, the people/Hams of Hamtopia: What do you say to people at school/home/other place or people if they ask you like Hamtaro?
Remember I'm a 9th grade guy.

Maybe when that someone is asking if you like Hamtaro, they are looking for someone to talk to about hamtaro. You should say you like it if you don't think that person will ridicule you about it.

Once someone said to me "Yeah, there aren't many good shows these days... I guess I can watch that silly Hamtaro show" and I replied "Oh hehe i've seen that show a few times and it's alright". The person was neutral to hamtaro, but i know that i'm too old to talk to people my age about it. I guess that's why we all come to this board, isn't it?

My friends were so close to figuring out I watch Hamtaro. *sigh* that Nintendo Power magazine I brought over could have been the ultimate embaressment. Especially since I'm a Grade 10 Guy! :blink:

I talk about the hamtaro and things at the skool....I even made a HUGE postery cardboard painty thingy of Sabu.....everybody liked it, but they didn't know whu he was =D

Coremaster-I bought a nintendo power magazine with Metroid Prime on the front and it had an almost complete guide to the "Hamtaro Ham Hams Unite" Except the bad thing was my one friend Mike was over at my house and he found that page bookmarked along with the game "Hamtaro Ham Hams Unite on my dresser (I accidently left it there). He said it was gay so I asked him if he had even watched the show before and guess what he said? he said "No". He prejudged Hamtaro. madddd

Thanks Lila, thats one thing I really want/need in school is more friends. I only have two or three friends at school (some friends are better than no friends) but all they talk about is Yu-Gi-Oh, Band, or Lord of the Rings and I dont really like Yu-Gi-Oh alot, but i dont hate it. So we just dont connect. I also believe I have some sort of curse, everytime I make a super good friend they move away, that happened to me four times. ::hugme::

Oh thats good, our neighbors are irrtating, for example they have a sheep pen across the road from their house and they are too lazy to come and get the sheep, and peeps always knock on our door telling us that our sheep are out of their pens. ha ha ha ha. I find it funny, by my mom thinks its annoying.

AWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to have the same type of dog! Her name was Sand. She was really REALLY old when she had to be put to sleep =( and my other dog had a very unfortunate ending.

Poor Teko has like arthritis or sumthing on his hip so if we dont walk him daily he'll have to be put to sleep : ( So I love him so I always walk him up to the little bridge we live near and back again. :

I'm sorry =( I hate when that happens....it would be much better if they lived as long as we did! You could get a carrier to carry dogs with arthritis around. Like a dog purse or something.

A dog purse would be cute. That's just like those Baby carriers that mothers strap on their backs so they don't have to hold their babies.

People don't have to ask. I am often found using differnt ham words. And besides, I'm known at my school as one of the only pure anime fans, so automatically they know. I could care less if they laughed at me.

When they heard Anime (I don't talk, I didnt tell them..it's written on my "Personal Folder" I use to carry around) they were always like "Ani-me..What's Ani-me.. :unsure: :blink: YO I HOPE IT'S F***ING PORN, YO" (well ok they didn't say the porn part, but they talk like that a lot..) I thought no one was interested in Anime untill 9th grade, the grade I'm in now.. They mention anime a lot.. and draw mad cool anime pictures too (And I AM nerdy..I watch them all look at anime pictures they drew from a different table (the kristen table)) er I also know cause I hear them talk about it in English. In fact they said "Hamtaro brings shame to Anime..great shame..now all the adults think anime is just 2yo kiddy stuff" in English..

btw I just call it "Kristen's table" cause I know no one at the table's names :blink: ..except Kristen's..and she never sits there at all anymore..

A quarter of people in my school watch anime, it's mostly DBZ though. I'm just lucky my friends are neutral to Zoids.

Like alittle less than half of the peeps at my school like anime mostly DBZ or Outlaw Star (Which I dont really care for) But not one person likes Hamtaro the way I do, so I feel alone. ::SnIiFfLeSsSs:: I wish some of you peeps went to my school or if we all went to the same school. :<!--emo&:oo:look:at:mee::::::--><!--endemo-->

When I first liked Hamtero, it was cuz a couple of my friends did, I never brought it up. At school on day though, I brought a CD with the Japonse hamtaro closing song and my friend stotle my CD player and said "This sounds like Hamtaro or something" and I was like " :blink: you watch Hamtaro?" and she said "Yeah, it's a pretty neat show" lol, you learn something new all the time, but honestly, I don't care what people think about what I like
