The Mona Hestia is the portrait that conseals the HP Book Analysis Class room. The Mona Hestia is a painting of a very pretty goddess. She was the sister of Zeus. Goddess of the Hearth and protector of newborns who were walked in circles around the hearth as a ritual to be included in the family. She oversaw home life much like the Fat Lady in the portrait that gaurds the entrance to Gryffindor tower and protects the children who live there. When Hestia was not respected, homes were vulnerable to attacks such as the assult on the Gryffindor portrait. So be kind to Mona Hestia and say "Good Day" for she is what keeps intruders out while we enjoy our time spent in class!

"Better run along, you still have a few days left of summer *freedom*, I think I saw some quidditch try-outs taking place down on the grounds, might want to try out, or if your not into sports, the Library is open! Full of fascinating knowledge, I always love the HOL library." :D

Have come here after receiving the welcome letter, and am very excited, especially since this is my first class of the year with any activity, and is also a class that has received so much praise, and one that I am interested in.

*Happily reads her notes for the September lesson* Is it weird to want to do homework before lessons start?

It's not at all weird. Well, at least not for this class! I already did the assignment and am waiting until September to turn it in, and it gives me time to add little details to the assignment.

OK, maybe I'm a little weird! :P

*The Mona Heista Opens*

*Prof. Atlas walks out carrying her HP books*

"Ahh, what a big crowd I have standing outside the classroom! Well, can't seem to get you all to leave, so why not join me!"

*Says "Reading"*

*Portrait opens and everyone shuffles into the large room, full of fluffy couches and pillows. (Desk will arive on Septmeber 1st). A large fire place roaring with green fire ablaze. Shelves full of books line the classroom walls, along with a desk covered in parchment and quills. *

"I was just decorating, anyone care to join me?" ;)

Good day, Mona Hestia!! :) Can't wait for lessons to start...wonder when the professor will arrive.

*Mona Hestia opens*

Prof Nina climbs out and welcomes everyone. She opens the portrait again, inviting everyone in.

*shuffles in together with everyone else*

*stares in awe at the books lining the shelves*

Prof. Nina asks if anyone wants to help decorate...

*raises hand immediately and runs over*

Hi Hestia,
Nice to see you. I've brought you some of those liqueur chocolates The Fat Lady loves so much.

*looks at the decorating people, and sits in a corner, pointing and offering helpful suggestions*

"Could someone help me hang up these paintings?"

*Everyone turns and offers to help, Atlas has a look of shock on her face, for she must have the most helpful, kindest students in all of HOL in her classroom!*

"Thank you, if you could just climb up that ladder and I will hand the painting to you." :)

"Sure I will help, just...could I hang the lower paintings?"
