This book is aimed for readers with reading levels of a 15+.

This is my first time really getting into telling about the books I like. Many I read are romance, but another half are biographies or historical books. The first one I would like to write about it titles plainly: John Adams

Written in 2001, it did not really become very famous until it was learned that it was to become a 7-part miniseries on HBO. I first pick up the book because anytime I see the names: John Adams or Abigail Adams, I will pick it up. I read a chapter in the store and instantly loved the book. David McCullough, the author was able to transport you to the late 18th Century and be the shadow of John and Abigail. He gives the raw image of the men and women there of that time.

Why I would ask someone to read this book, would be because many remember George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, my word, even John Hancock. But, John Adams is written in the history books, but never given the true credit he deserve, for it was he truly that pushed the independence in Philedephilia and was the one to defend the Declaration of Independence. John Adams after reading his story through the research that David McCullough is given a new light to him and given the respect that a TRUE patriot deserve.

10 out of 10 in my world.

IF this is not allowed that is alright please inform me and I will take it off, but here is the image of the cover of the book:

Dear Keety--it is absolutely fine that you bring this book to our attention (and the TV series is terrific as well)! I have great admiration for McCullough's writing and read all his books I can get my hands on! Thank you for posting! Prof. Opal

I decided to re-read this book due to the fact that his birthday was October 30th and his wife died on the 28th of October. So, in honor of my two heroes I re-read the book that made the world see what I saw and learned about by them. I know ramblings sorry.
