This is probably one of my favorite books I read over the summer. It is about the Triangle shirtwaist fire of 1911. The book made me cry a lot. It is a story about three girls. Yetta, Bella, and Jane. Yetta and Bella both came from other countries to earn money for their families in America. They both work at the shirtwaist factory where they are being tricked out of their money. The girls start to protest for better working conditions and for women's rights. They are beaten and thrown in jail. Jane's family is very rich. One day she is passing the factory when she sees the protesters she becomes friends with Yetta and Bella. Soon the protest ends, but one day a cigarette starts a blazing fire. I make it sound really dull since I can't give away any of the good parts but I strongly reccomend this book to everone. It is awesome, I promise!

I read this book and I loved it! It's a really good book, and very sad. Um... I'm not sure what else to say, but I'd reccomend this book to anyone!
