This is a novel and a really great read. Oh and there is not a typo in the author's name in case you are wondering. The book is about the moon being knocked closer into orbit by a meteor, catastophically changing the worlds climate. This sets up huge tidal waves. Volcanos that have been inactive for years are erupting and there is a blizzard in the summer. The story is told by Miranda through her journal entries. She is in high school struggling to hold on to hope in this disastrous time.I would definatley reccomend this book to anyone who loves a good disaster story. It is amazing to wonder if anything like this could ever happen in real life.
