Life's been ruff this year. We moved from Indiana to Dardanelle, AR in 10/04. The moved caused severe chronic pain everywhere.

You can read by bio and see what all medically has happened to me. In July they found that Hubby had 3 blockages during an arteriorgram; but would not put stents in that day because he only has one kidney. Cardio said 1 blockage and had rerouted itself to another artery. Rick asked him how that happened and his only explanation was 'God Did It'. So we went back the next week and they put 2 stents in and found another blockage but it is not blocked enough to do anything with. He also has sleep apnea and uses a CPAP Machine. He had around the world lumbar fusion in 11/03 with cages in the front and rods and screws in the back. He no longer takes meds for his back, but all the meds he takes for his heart and only having one kidney is enough LOL!

I'm scheduled to have my Cervical Fusion C6-C7 redone on 11/29. Will try to post more often until then. But I will be staying at my dad's for two weeks to recuperate.

Wow! I will be praying for you and yours. It does sound like a rough stretch. Keep us informed. I have had some issues, but I don;t even want to mention them after all that!

Ha ha ha. Back is alright. I do not know if I ever mentioned before, but it all turmed out to be arthritis in my hips and lower back. I have had to learn to use ice, heat and advil as soon as I feel it acting up and it prevents the serious problems I was having before. I was also in the hospital last February with heart problems. For two days I was having PVC's and they coouldn;t find anything wrong with my heart, but it was still not beating correctly. It turned out to be severe acid reflux, that was bad enough it was affecting my heart. So I am now on the Purple Pill, plus a beta blocker to regualte my heart. No restrictions and they say the heart is fine, but I should stay on the blocker since it was the only thing that regulated my heart beat and they say the reflux will be with me forever in all probability. It was sort of scary though. :ph43r: :fa :fa2

That is scary Ralph. Bill was in for the same thing, but he didn't end up being on any meds, just for the reflux. Well, I'm glad it turned out alright. Arthritis, huh? Now you can officially post in chronic pain with the rest of us!! ;)
