This one is addressed to Mr Faith. One of these things are not like the other. One of these things are not the same. Can you guess which one we will put in Faith's sig if she is for the week too big?

Assignment for Jack and Jil. Upon exact completion of this assignment, you will have been kept so busy, you will have had no time for food and will have both been declared top team members this week.

In your sketchbook, draw six squares of equal size (3" is probably OK, but you can make them larger if you wish). Each square will be used to illustrated a portion of the "Jack and Jill" nursery rhyme - here are the divisions you should use:

Square 1 Jack and Jill
Square 2 Went Up the Hill
Square 3 To Fetch a Pail of Water
Square 4 Jack Fell Down
Square 5 And Broke His Crown
Square 6 And Jill Came Tumbling After

You will create your illustrations using the dingbats and/or punctuation marks provided on the assignment sheet given in class. You may cut these out and arrange them or you may wish to draw them in your squares so that you can re-use them in several squares. You may wish to modify them slightly (in terms of size or color, for example). If you have access to a photocopier, you may photocopy and/or enlarge or reduce the dingbats and marks. You may use any medium (pencil, pen, colored pencils) and any colors you wish.

You may create preliminary sketches if you wish, but they are not required. Your portfolio must include the six final squares which represent your interpretation of the rhyme.
