Exercise

You won't live to 100 without adequate physical health, so exercise is a must. Find creative ways to be more active below.

Take the stairs instead of an elevator.

Discuss: Is it practicable?Do you do this? What if you are in a rush?

We have not done any structured exercise in over a year.
It is hard starting again.
Fred and I joined the Family Y on December 14th.
We started by walking 10 minutes per day.
Our goal is 30 minutes per day at least 4 days per week.
I stand a lot at work and I have foot problems. I have to go slow.
With God's help we will make our 30 minute goal this year.
Fred could do it now but we are going at ny pace.
When we are on the track we each go at our own pace. We just do it 10 minutes.

You and Fred are doing wonderful!

The next 2 weeks or so are all about good old fashioned exercise ideas and some new things to try.

I hope that others will peek in here. The segment after exercise is preventative care.

This is a simple, but wonderful series. I add the discussion topics, but often don't have a clue what to say. I am not exercising right now.

I exercise 6 days a week most of the time. I believe exercise is important, especially as you get older to keep your bones strong and keep flexible. Most of the time, when I go shopping etc. I park further away to walk a little more.
