No one of us will ever attain a state of perfect humility, but it is humility, throwing ourselves upon God's mercy, that will set us free from our bondage in the flesh. Today I will approach God's throne in humility, both of us knowing I need divine help. 2 Chronicles 4: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal."
