A distraught call to God is always answered. Whether it is, "Lord save me", or "God help me", He is ready, willing and able to assist you. However we must call upon Him at the first moment of temptation, and then calm ourselves to hear His quiet, still voice. Don't think these SOS signals are overlooked by God. For the overeater they are essential. And when you have made it through your next meal without over-indulgence, do not forget, Psa 105:2 Sing unto him, sing praises unto him; Talk ye of all his marvelous works.
Amen!!! one of the things with our distress calls is that after making them, we need to remember and believe that God has heard ....... so often it seems we say Lord help us, then give into the temptation and look away from the help God is giving; although we may continue to pray Lord help us as we do this
