Title: Baby Finches
Description: falling out of the nest

Does anyone know much about baby finches? I have had two (possibily one twice) fall out of the nest and land on the cage below. They get their little feet stuck and then they struggle to get it free. Thankfully, I've been home in time to find them and pick them up with paper towel and put them back in the nest. My question is, I added a makeship nest underneath theirs so they can land in it. You don't think the parents will reject them now with my messing around there do you?

We have a zebra finch, I dont know much about it I would think that if your bird is used to your contact it shouldn't reject them.

The baby bird is doing well. They are getting so big and almost too big to all fit in the nest together. They are also getting their feathers and they have the cutest little faces too! It's a fun "science experiment" so to speak. I think from now on when there are eggs laid, I'll remove them.

I don't at the moment JIL and that's a good idea. I will work on getting them for you if I can.
