On the league website, the commissioner seems to have forgotten to mention the other team tied for 3rd place overall. Perhaps Stephen is in denial that Edmonton is currently doubling the Flames in points? However, I admire him for not pointing out that it was the Oilers that provided Chicago with their only win of the season.

Well, it is true that no matter how well you do this season, it will always be tainted by that loss to Chicago.
You can win the cup, but it will always be remembered that you couldn't even beat Chicago.
And now that I have jinxed myself and will lose to the Hawks this season, I will stop.

Poor Alexander "Graham" Bell. What a way to start a career. Even if he develops into a pretty good goalie, which I think he will, he'll never be able to forget his nine save debut against the Hawks.

Why feel snubbed? You will get more satisfaction now when you not only beat the snott out of Calgary but when you knock off Vancouver and some of the other juggarnauts in the league.
If I were you I would view Calgary as your doormat that you can wipe your muddy boots on.
Being the predator that hides in the weeds waiting to pounce is real fun sometimes.
