The FFF Award Show is something fun created for the members and it is what you guys make it. Nominations this year weren’t as big a turn out as 2006 of course the staff got a little wrapped up in the April Fools joke this year and almost forgot about the Award Show so next year I or whoever wants to do it will start it earlier and maybe do things a little different.
I do want to thank everyone who participated this year either by nominating some members, voting or both. Without you guys this never would have been possible and really without all you members we wouldn’t have a forum so you’re all winners in a “clichéd TMC is trying to boost your self esteem if your feeling a bit down you weren’t nominated or didn’t come out as the winner” kind of way. Seriously though thanks for being a part of the forum, sticking around and staying active.
Unfortunately all the winners from the 2006 Award Show got deleted due to the IF Bug so instead of showing who dethroned who we’re just gonna start over with a clean slate and compare next year, mmk.
Fourth Annual FFF Award Show results:
Best Overall ~ FFVII
with IX and X close runners up.
Best Storyline ~ FFVII
Best Graphics (for it’s time) ~ This was a tie between FFVII and FFVIII
Best Sound Effects/Voicing ~ FFX stole the gold by a landslide
Best Mini-Game ~ It’s a tie between quite possibly the two mini-games TMC loathes the most, Triple Triad (FFVIII) and Blitzball (FFX)
Coolest (Favorite) Limit ~ Renzokuken-Lion Heart (Squall, FFVIII)
Best Villain ~ A tie between Kefka (FFVI) and Sephiroth (FFVII), had I been paying attention I could’ve voted in this poll on time just to give us a single winner among all the ties this year.
Strangest Character ~ Quina (FFIX) by quite the majority.
Most Overlooked Game ~ FFV with FFVI close behind.
Coolest Airship ~ Ragnarok (FFVIII)
Guiltiest Pleasure (for the guys) ~ A even tie between Tifa (FFVII) and Rikku (FFX)
*Guiltiest Pleasure (for the ladies) ~ Zack (FFVII: CC)
Best System ~ Materia (FFVII) though the class system was close behind
Best Summon ~ Bahamut (Numerous) with Shiva following closely.
Best Character – Male, Leading ~ Cloud (FFVII)
Best Character – Male, Supporting ~ It’s a tie between Auron (FFX) and Balthier (FFXII)
Best Character – Female, Leading ~ Yuna (FFX/X-2) by quite the majority.
Best Character – Female, Supporting ~ Sweet Sephiroth we have a four-way tie this year between Quistis (FFVIII), Lulu (FFX), Rikku (FFX/X-2) and Fran (FFXII)
Best Battle System ~ FFX
Was it being able to switch party members on the fly via L1 or being able to see the order the attacks? I don’t know, but FFX won this year with Tactics close behind.
Hardest Overall ~ FFXII takes it with FFVII close behind and Relient should be happy to hear FFVIII only got one vote this year.
Best Soundtrack ~ FFVII

*Favorite Spin-Off ~ FFVII: AC, must be something about the animated adventure as none of the games were nominated, while I figure Crisis Core was still too new to put up a good fight though there is always next year.

As you can see today was a very tie heavy year with FFVII and FFX tying for 1st place (in 2005 FFVII only one by 1-2 votes) while FFVIII and FFXII tied for 2nd.

I'm surprised that so many of them were tie's, especially with female supporting. It's a shame we don't have the old topics from before the forums crashed, it would have been nice to see how people have changed their minds.
It's a shame Crisis core didn't win more but like you said it's too new. It's not even out in the uk until the 20/06... so so annoying!

YAY!!! After all these years... finally my inactivity has paid off!!! I was actually quite surprised to see that I had won the most Inactively Active member... though it seems fitting... I usually check the forums daily (more like two or three times a day), and yet I hardly ever find the time to make some type of post... Cant start posting too much... I'll be trying to go for back to back years for winning most inactively active member...
