Hazel walnuts
Hidden in the endless haze
Of your beautiful face.
Those glassy orbs grace my eyes
And we glare wind burned looks
Into each other’s shrouded souls.

Yet you tousle her hair,
Yet you whisper into her ears:
Your plans for the future
And of the children on the moon
Who pick dandelions and plant them in her golden, golden hair.

Yet you trip and clasp the tenderness of my nape,
And look up to steal gasps of life in my eyes
As you lap your fingers up and down
Your reverberating guitar threads.

Every Saturday night,
I blow away those cloudy eyes
And penetrate the maze of your jailed spirit
And love you unrelenting in the depths of my mind.




*shrugs* something i wrote. i can't stand writing out of rhyme and rhythm but w/e, i'll do both metered and crazy poems from now on.
