I just sorta looked at Tifa's breasts the whole time, but this video sort of looks like what a Final Fantasy version of Super Smash Brothers would be like in a way. However, it was too FFX-2ish in how there were all girls in it.
However, I have no problem with girl fights like this one. :p
I remember finding the guy who did these on deviantART, in fact I think a favorited an AC Tifa render he made.
I agree with Busta this is great example of what a FF version of Smash Bros. would look like, possibly even FF Dissida, though that seems to look more like a good mesh between Smash Bros. and a good 2 person beat 'em up like Soul Calibur.
The guy has tallent no doubt and what he does must take a ton of time and patience, but its not my cup o' tea. I guess I'd just rather play Smash Bros. than watch a 10 minute video of gameplay from something like that. Maybe if it was a battle like in AC or there was some sort of story behind it then I'd enjoy it more, but really its just a guy messing around with software. Personally if I had access to materials like that I'd put it to a better use and create my own animated stories, some fanfiction, some original.
I think I know the image you're talking about TMC... was it the one that shows Tifa's scar that Sephi gave her?? I've also seen the guys work on DA though and I was actually watching the films on youtube about a month ago and nearly started a topic about it.
I must say though I was impressed. His animation and modelling skills are excellent. I don't think I've seen better 3D fan work of the FF and DOA ladies. I love how he managed to capture the way each character moves, for example when Rinoa first comes in she looks around at them and does her famous little wink with moving her finger to her lips. I also really liked how he incorperated the magic into the animation/fight too. Things like haste were really well added in.
I enjoyed watching it but I would have rather of seen something with a bit more plot rather than watching them all beat the crap out of each other for no reason.
Yeah thats the one. Most fans seem to forget that after a run with the Sephster you would have a bit of a scar. I mean this is Tifa not Mako enhanced Jenova manipulated Cloud who can recover from just about any physical injury without scarring. Anyway reading the comments on there made me realize he was the guy who created the Dead Fantasy series and had quite a large fanbase. Until this topic I never bothered to check it out and thought he was basically using 3D animation to tell his own stories using FF characters, which I had my own stigmas and doubts about; now I'm a little disapointed that's not what he's using it for.
Edit: Ok I was going to link to the image but WTF its gone. I swear I favorited it and even looking through his gallery I dont see it. WTF!? Was he forced to removed it? Did he remove it by choice? Am I an idiot and thinking of someone else who did that image? Damn it now this is gonna bother me all night.
