good question... ive wondered the same thing, but im thinking that did have to be deleted since its not really part of the forum 0.o my guess anyways

Because it slows a certain members computer/internet down thus he got rid of it and I'm currious to see if he fesses up or pins it on a recently banned member due to recent events.

Actually, there was an error with the skin code a few days back when the joke was going on and I went to go edit the code to get rid of the ImageShack error, and the chat-box code got screwed up too...

Plus it slows down my comp...

BUT, if TMC or AZA can get the code to get it back up and running again, I have no problem having it back. We just need the code back.

Damn it, you drive a hard bargain, mainly because I dont have access to such fancy stuff.

Time to go pester AzA and spend more time than usual on AIM.

Personally I don't mind either way if we get the chat box back... The most recent one we had caused Safari to crash on the mac's at work hence my absence and re-appearance since it's been gone. Maybe we could find another chat box that doesn't effect the speed or browser so much??

I can't get a hold of AzA and I've been kinda busy myself.

It seems like with all the past chatboxes we've had there has been a problem with either java not working for someone or slowing down the internet or causing it to crash completely in other cases. Really the only solution to these problems is something as common as an instant messenger like MSN, AIM, Yahoo ect. but not every member here has the same one and there are also time zones to take into consideration.

I believe AzA did a great deal of searching for something that would work for us with all the features we were looking for. The Chat Box allowed us to sign in under our usernames and also anonymous if we wanted post the random bit of rubish and maybe mess around with someone like the former FFF chat room. It was also possible to moderate which was nice to ban those who missused it. I also liked how it logged everything so unlike an IM you wouldn't have to be signed on see what was posted, similar to shout box.

If nothing else maybe something as simple as a shout box would work for us. Maybe find one where you can delete submissions to get rid of spammers and advertisers. Other than bringing the old one back with tweaks or a simple shoutbox I really have no ideas. Suggestions?


I've always assumed the Cosmo Candle topic was essentially like a topic made into a chat box and if nothing else that works for us doesn't it?

But it's not as convenient and it doesn't appear on every page... it just isn't the same :( I want it back.

Everyone needs to flood AZA's PM inbox and e-mail inbox with messages until he comes back.

He hasn't been here in a while anyway, only to tamper with his post count. *Evil eyes to AZA...*

I didn't notice that. I worked hard to pass him up in posts... not fair that he can do that.

lol I miss it too, I would always log on as anomynous and say it was me lol. :p
