I think I posted a topic like this to ask this question once, but I'm not sure and there's no way to check so let's create a new one to stir up a bit of discussion.
I was talking to SG on MSN a long time ago about FFVI and he mentioned something about how Kefka was actually the most successful of all the Final Fantasy antogonists simply because he succeded in killing half the town due to poisoning the water or something of the like. Is this true?
I'd like to learn a little bit more about this game and I might consider giving it a try, I don't mind spoilers because I'm going to find out eventually anyway. I mean we all know the evil enemy is going to fall in the end anyway, but the simple fact that he almost succeeded and broke outside the box interests me in this game I just don't know much about.
Yes I know I can read up on it on Wikipedia or FF Compendium instead of posting this topic and I have done my homework a bit. I'm not posting this topic because I'm too lazy to do research myself I'm posting it becayse I'm curious as to what you guys have to say about the game.
you took my thread i was going to make... actually it was going to be called "Kefka greatest villain or..."
yes he did do the poison water supply and killed half if not more of the people there... and one of the greatest achievements in FF history, he changed the whole world map not like some others in previous FF games that just change a little bit of one location
He also learned that you can kill Espers (summons) and harness their powers, so he then tortures a lot of them (in his lab) and tries to become the greatest villain of all time... only to fall
Kefka was awesome, and Final Fantasy VI is one of the best games ive ever played, the main characters kicked ass and all the supporting ones did too, Also there was so many characters to choose from, my party was always (pre gogo) Edgar, Sabin, Cyan and Shadow :D once i got GoGo then he was put in instead of shadow, and was my main mage.
Kefka is awesome, he managed to destroy half the world, poison a town completely and also has one of the best laughs ever UWEHEHEHEHEHE!
Ultros was my favourite boss from that game, and i actually have an Ultros Plushie :P
