One is cool because everyone dies, the other isn't too bad, but the perfect ending is kinda dumb, of course they had to do that and have a happy sappy ending, but how hell can Yuna get with Tidus if he's a dream and techncially doesn't even really exist?

Who was your favorite character in FFX-2?

In FFX it was Rikku but in FFX-2 Is was really put off... mainly because of her god awful outfit, it kinda made her loose her charm. Baralai was pretty cool though as was Gippal. I can't say I really have a favourite FFX-2 character.

I think I have to go for Dark Night too... They were awesome...

I never really thought they suited each other but oh well.

I can't really remember the endings... I'm guessing the everyone dies ending is when you get a game over screen but I got the normal ending and one thing was sure I definitely couldn't be bothered to play through it again to get the cheesy Tidus is alive ending...

Yuna, Even though i was severly dissapointed in this game, gotta love the new look and attitude

the perfect ending... (i will never do this again) SQUEEEE YAY!! ^_^ (now that, that japanese cuteness is out of my system) the other endings were ok, but nowt special.

Who was your favorite character in FFX-2?
Playable, none of them. I suppose I still favor Yuna, but that's carry-over from FFX. I didn't hate any of the characters, but Yuna and Rikku were completely different from their FFX days and Paine just never grew on me. Personally, I thought Maechen was awesome in this game, simply because I'm a sucker for history, even fictional history.

What was your favorite Dress Sphere?
Berserker. Fast, auto-counter, self-healing, powerful, nearly indestructible.

Counter attacks

Your thoughts on the Wakka/Lulu pairing?
Obvious as hell from FFX, and they seemed to balance each other nicely. Wakka helped Lulu to lighten up some and Lulu helped Wakka mature a bit.

Your thoughts on the endings?
Multiple endings never really appealed to me. If they made the game challenging enough to begin with, they could have had just one ending; the perfect one. I have to say, though, that the "good" ending was far more powerful to me. Much more realistic and taught some valuable life lessons.

I must confess I rushed into this topic in a craze to bring some topics and activity back but in fact have not played this game. Seen some stuff on YouTube and oddly enough I own the strategy guide for it (don't ask). For the sake of quality I'll add more depth to my original post.

Who was your favorite character in FFX-2?
The main reason I like Paine so much, aside from the fact that she weilds a sword is because she is sort of like the Auron character in this game. The quiet, but tough character that knows how to fight and fight well who is almost of a bit of mercenary helping the others out because of thier experience, skill and the thrill of a fight. At least thats what I got out of her character.

What was your favorite Dress Sphere? And What was your favorite attack(s) from that class?
I find it cool how they are intent at defeating the enemy at all costs take the suicidal Charon move for example. Even Darkness where you waste your vitality to damage the foe, though Drain makes up for that. Black Sky was a good attack too and I loved how Yuna had Tidus's Caladbolg in that Dressphere and Rikku Auron's Masamune.

Another one I liked was the plain old Warrior Dressphere, once again because I have a knack for swords and all the elemental sword attacks you can use are quite usefull and cool.

Your thoughts on the Wakka/Lulu pairing?
When I first heard bout it "What...the...F***!?" because I like Vesp never really thought they fit each other; although like Vaskal said they did kind set up for this and provide hints in FFX. I still kinda figured their relationship was like a brother sister kind of thing though, not romantic.

Your thoughts on the endings?
I could have swore there was a bad ending you get if you either fail the final battle, which I guess would result in a game over screen or just do a really horrible job and fly through the game doing the bare minimum, but I guess not.

The good ending was ok, a bit farfetched because it still sorta shows Tidus and Yuna getting together I believe, but whats to be expected from an ending. Meanwhile the perfect ending was really just an extra video you get after the credits showing more cushy Tidus/Yuna time.

Who was your favorite character in FFX-2?
Okay Paine all the way, one probably because she is different so you haven't had a chance to see her as much as the other two, plus she is hardcore, a girl with a sword how could you go wrong really.

Oh anf Gippal, if I was a FFX-2 character I would definatly be in love with him <3

What was your favorite Dress Sphere?
Omg this is such a hard question because I have so many favourites, ah but because I haven't actually got all of them then I can't really choose fairly but I really do like Dark Knight but The card queen ones look cool and the big toy suits look aweosme too but Dark Knight was the one I used the most.

Does anyone think that they didn't really spend much time on designing the other white mage/black mage costumes to look that well, they kind of just skimmed over them and half arsed it.

Ah I can't really remember the attacks that well, I haven't played it in a while but probably just the attack which is what I used the most.

Your thoughts on the Wakka/Lulu pairing?
I thought it was super cute but I would have liked to see other couples not just them.

Well I have only got one ending haha which is slack but i have seen the last ending on youtube and I thought it was so cute and I love it to bits, I think everyone wanted to see Tidus and Yuna get back together because it was the cutest love story in X, I cried at the end of X I really did.

^I didn't. I wanted to see Shuyin run Tidus through his own sword and say "That's for impersonating me AND being a cry baby...b****."

...Ok you got me I did sorta want them to get together just to make it all happy even though it totally goes against reality.

I liked the design of some of the other Dress Sphere's like in the Warrior one how Yuna had Tidus's Brotherhood and I think Rikku had another one of Auron's swords didn't she? Which brings me to the point of why does Rikku use all of Auron's swords? Are they trying to suggest another opposites attract paring like Yuffie and Vincent...or perhaps its just because Auron was the only other character who used a sword lol.

I liked the Black Mage and White Mage outfits, they didn't have much depth to them, but the seemed fitting to me. Black Mage has a big witches hat, White Mage looks more like a monk.

Lady Luck was another cool Dress Sphere design-wise, Leblanc was the last suit I suppose, hearts. This group kinda reminded me of an expanded version of Cait Sith's slot reel limit.

One I never got was Songstress. What the heck? How does that fit? I mean maybe if they each had different insturments or something that would be cool, give Paine a guitar, Rikku on drums maybe, Yuna can keep the mic lol.

Ah I just thought of the perfect combination to make this DMC-like, keep Yuna as a gunner with the double pistols, keep Paine as a Warrior or Dark Knight for sword attacks, then either keep Rikku as a Theif or put her in some sort other Dress Sphere that is kind of trickster-like (if there is one). ...Yeah I know I need help, but that kinda makes want to play the game, no I gotta beat FFX first and the Kimarhi topic makes me want to do that to experiment with him more. I'll shut up now.

I think all of the dressspehere's save maybe the thief one and the songstress one had good designs. I do love how the girls look in the warrior dresssphere and I agree with TMC about how it's cool that Yuna uses Tidus' brotherhood sword. As for Rikku a lot of fans seem to pair her with Auron. I personally think that ones a bit wrong (so is the Yuffie and Vincent pairing) simply because of the age gap. The outfit that always amuses me most is the mascot one. It must get really hot in those outfits especially if you are fighting, they would be useful whilst climbing Gagazet though! lol!

Stepii: Gippal is hawt! Although I feel I shouldn't be saying that because he;s just pixels on a screen. I always though he and Rikku would make a good couple.

I totally agree, I think these FF game should have more then one main couple hook up. I know there was Beatrice and Tin man in No. 9 but it wasn't a full fledged romance or anything. Seeing some more flirting in X-2 would have been exciting I think, they already practically made it a girls game anyway so why not just go the whole way.

I'm no dyke but I have to agree with you there. Yes she has a more skimpy outfit but it's also a lot nicer more brighter, more Rikku outfit compared to the other one. Her other outfit in X was meh, the colours were gross and it was more Alhbed looking which is boring.
