Wow, for some reason last night I found myself on a final fantasy wikipedia where upon it I came across a small piece of speculation based around Vivi.

**Just after you see Zidane and Kuja get trapped by the Iifa tree you come across each of the playable character's thoughts about Zidane. I could not find exactly what Vivi said but according to speculation it would seem that Vivi died.**

I did not notice this before, I guess one can choose what they believe here

So possibly that is what happened to him.

I don't remember FFIX too much... so I don't remember that part at all. I may need to crack the game out again now.

Vivi was my favorite character... and I played all the way through that one... how did I not notice something like that happening???

I may have to go back and play that one again... even move it ahead of the many other games I've been playing... though I most likely wont get a chance until this summer...

he didnt die im pretty sure. if he did he would be in KH 2 or theyd pull an Aeris and give her a different name.
