A few important issues to discuss including 2 new Elite Members, an old friend who's back on the forums, the member clean-up, and the next Member of the Month criteria.

1. Congrats to Aztec and Ayesuku who were promoted to Elite status today. Ayesuku has always been here as the low post-count world-dominating Supreme Gnome. He will still be Gnome status with Elite privileges. Aztec...sure he has had his shaky past history here, but the forums need a bit of entertainment every now and then. Plus with 2 years of dedication and great topics here, we think he deserves it. Thanks for sticking around man.

2. Yojimbo will be back on the forums posting hopefully soon. Some issues had come up in the past involving him, but many know that this site does give second chances to those who seem reasonable to change. So I welcome him back and hope you all greet him back into the FFF community.

3. I removed 700+ non-active members who registered before 2007 and never posted at all. It asked me about post counts when deleting members and I put "Any member with less than 1 post" for deletion that had not posted since before 2007. I think Ayesuku should be safe even though he has a -9,989 post count. :monster:

4. The next Member of the Month title will go to anyone who can bring back:
Mason
Melancholy Rockit
Pepe/Fields
SpinningFree
Red Demon

Who ever nabs the most wins; if there's a tie, co-MotM's will be chosen.

Also, TMC, tell SG to stop playing WoW and FFXI and come back to posting here.

Just a small note wasn't SF banned for something ages ago when Ross was still here??

Anyway congrats to Ayesuku and Aztec on joing the elite few. (I say few but most of the active posters are elites lol)

Its a shame red demon and Melan and even sf are gone, they were kinda friends of mine, I always remember red as being legendary to this site way back in the day lol.

I've been trying to get Chocobo Chick to come back, I've got her on MySpace muhahaha, but so far no dice. As for SG...it'll be a lot easier if he'd get onto MSN.

MR has been randomly talking to me on msn, but I think it's not him. He keeps saying "This really looks like you :S" and then a link. So I asked him what that was about, no answer. Some time later he said the same thing again, so I'm guessing it's not him. Probably a bot, if that can be.

EDIT: He just keeps saying things like "Impossible that this is you? :S" and "Could this be you? :S" and some random link with my email in it. I'm pretty sure that's not MR.

Though my opinion would be a bit biased, I'd say remove all the bans from members who were banned under the old administration. When anyone is trying to get old members back, it might be beneficial to let them know the site staff has changed quite a bit. This site is far more welcoming than it used to be.

Yeah, I've been slowly deleting members who were banned like Spam-bots with 1 or fewer posts, and un-suspending those who've been banned for 30 eyars and such.

Yes, I was going through them and eventually just gave up. 15 pages of names for a forum this low in activity is insane.

We have about 60-some banned people right now. I deleted any of them who had less than 10 posts because they were mainly spam-bots. I noticed a few who were high in the post count were troluble-makers from the past so I left them banned for sentimental reasons.

All of Aztec's accounts besides his main one are still banned. :girlcloud:

They're are only two pages of banned people now, thats pretty good, narrowed down the list a bit.

^Yeah Vesp has been busy as has Shivadiva I take it. Leona and ABGM fell off the face of the earth and I just can't seem to get CC back, while she hasn't openly refused I don't know I can make it much more blatant than "Hey, FFF misses your activity, you said it yourself you were bored and had too much free time, so come back and start posting again eh?"


I've got it! We'll vote on a member we all want to come back, make them Member of the Month, then hassle them to come back by using thier MotM status as an incentive.
