Does anyone else have an issue with the site not marking topics as read after you read them? I have to click on the "Mark this forum as read" link more often than not or I keep clicking on topics I've read all the replies to thinking there's something new when there isn't.

That only happens occaisionally with me. It works fine for the most part.

Yeah I have a lot of problems with that as well, it always keeps them highlighted for no reason.

Yeah, same here. You can solve it by going to the category the board is in, and then to the index again.

So Index -> Forum Talk -> Marked as read -> Index -> Forum Talk -> Index.

I know, it's a lot of work, but still, it works.

I have this problem every once in a while, but it's due to me going back to the main page after I click out of a topic. What I mean is this:

I will be reading a post in a newly replied to topic and instead of going back to the forum I was in, I go back to the board index. Then that forum says I still have a new topic to look at. SO when I go back into it, there is NOTHING new.

If however, I am reading that post in a topic and I click to go back into that specific forum the topic was in, then it will mark all of those topics as read for me.

Sort of confusing, but I'm not sure how ever navigates this site.

It used to happen all the time for me. Now I just use the active topics link

it really doesn't bother me. I just go back to the topic, if Iv'e read it, then I just clikc the back button.
