What You Win:
Bragging rights, five minutes of FF Forum fame and the pleasure of knowing your bribes were higher than your competition's.
What You Get if You Don't Win:
Either the complete humiliation of defeat or the joy of knowing you were smart enough not to waste bribes on a contest that doesn't really win you anything, you cheap bastard.
Rules and Guidelines:
Please note that you may post entries that do not meet guidelines and will not be included in the voting. All submissions for the contest must begin with the text, "Contest Entry." All posts in this topic should be contest entries or non-contest parodies. For questions regarding the contest, please PM Vaskal.
Must be a parody of an actual, non-Final Fantasy related song; original entries and entries that are parodies of FF music will be disqualified. Entries are to be text only, though if you wish to create an audio recording you may link to it in your submission post. Can be about any Final Fantasy product or aspect of the Final Fantasy series, including but not limited to games, soundtracks, merchandise, companies involved in production/distribution of FF, fans (or non-fans), characters, battle systems, FF "worlds", technology, graphics, etc. Entries limited to three separate submissions per member. Each entry must be a separate post; double-posting is still not allowed, so you must wait for a post by another member before submitting multiple entries. Each entry must contain the name of the original song being parodied and the original artist. If you are making a parody of a cover, you must include both the original and cover artists' names.
Deadline for submissions is noon GMT on 12/24/07 Voting will begin after I get a chance to make a post regarding the beginning of the voting and will close at noon GMT on 1/4/08. Members who submit entries will be required to vote, though cannot vote for their own submissions. Members who submit an entry but do not vote will be disqualified. Members who do not submit entries will be eligible to vote for any entry.
