I'm sure everyone here is familar with FFF's general chat topic. The original title of which was Tifa's 7th Heaven then later on K_D took the liberty of renaming it K_D's Bar and Grill then for general purposes it was changed to what it is now Lion's Head Inn and Tavern.

I was going to just change the topic back to its original title, but then I started thinking that, that was a bit selfish and not everyone may have liked that old title. Rather than saying tough luck I figured I'd give the members (the other staff included) a chance to come up with some new titles for the topic. Then afterwards we will hold a Title poll battle similar to the annual Character Battle as seen at GameFAQ's.


This topic is for everyone to make thier submissions, naturally the title needs to be clean and preferably something Final Fantasy oriented since this is a Final Fantasy Forum after all. In other words no using member names in the title. Well actually if you've got a good one you can still submit it, but I won't add it to the actual battle.

Hmmmm good idea, I do like Tifa's 7th Heaven... But you could go for anther FFVII bar like Turtles Paradise.

That's all I can think of though my other idea Tantalus' Hideout sounds lame...

Maybe we can name it: "TheMissingCloud's Dairy Farm?"

i like the vespi's idea of turtles paradise or the cloud pad to kinda give it a fresh name just like the rest of the makeover of the board

I was talking to RS in MSN and he came up with a couple pretty good titles for this topic.

I was gonna sumbit Shinra Boardroom myself, but that makes it sound too much like we discuss important stuff there. Basically the theme I was trying to go for with some of these titles is points in the Final Fantasy games where the characters sit around and talk about the past, present and future. Hence why I like The Cosmo Candle.


Now I should applogize 1) for double posting, but I had to make a reply so RS would post 2) for submiting a sexual and inapropriate title. I'm a Global Mod and should exhibit better behavior, but I figure were all mature enough to joke around with sexual themes, within reason. If anyone is offended let me know and I'll edit the post.

The Farplane sounds more like what an Archive Forum would be named.

Personally I prefer anything that is a bar, since thats where great discussions happen, great moments all captured- an in a forum style that could be the essence of it. (Or is that too detailed for something so general?)

So taverns/inns/bars/possibly hotel (from my personal bias).

I dont think anyone is gonna flip out of the word titty... And if they do they are probably too young to be on the forum (13 or less) or needs to stop being uptight

and agree with valderon on the bar point (cept most of the time those great convos are rarely remembered, or when they are its more of a wtf was said notion)

Good point SG and I did used to call The Turk "titty" back in the day from his initials TT, tee tee.

So titles dealing with bars/pubs/taverns still fit quite well =P

I know in the first post I said to keep it Final Fantasy oriented well I would also like to see a title that includes at least one of the followings words:

Pub
Inn
*other like words*

Most of the submissions have already followed that format, but I thought I'd throw that out there.

I'm glad you like the colorful list SD and thanks for more submissions Vesp. I like how you tried to do the whole (I totally forgot the word for it, but its when a persons first name and surname both start with the same letter, like Vincent Valentine or Laguna Lori) thing; I tried to do that with some of mine. I just like the sound of those titles better, they're kinda catchy.


I plan on closing this topic by the end of the 30th and getting the polls or at least the bracket's (the plan for the polls) up by the end of the 1st, but what I plan to do and what I actually do have always been two different things.

Gimmie a couple days to figure out how to set up the polls and I'll try to get them up soon. I work tomorrow and have Tuesday off, but I plan on spending that free time with someone special. So if it happens to be like a week before anything happens don't get mad at me my life is pretty random.
