Title: CC Secret Ending video (aka FFVII's opening)

Aparently there is a secret ending video in Crisis Core you get upon completion of the game twice. As a staple of secret endings/hidden videos this plays after the credits role and looks very similar to the FFVII tech demo/the intro FMV to FFVII.

There are some differences between the Tech Demo we've all seen and this version so it's worth a look (the video is at the botom of the article).

For those who have really bad hearing or whose minds just blank whenever anything is said in a language that isn't english Cloud essentially says "My name is Cloud, SOLDIER 1st Class"

If you ask me this video is another attempt to show how much Cloud and Zack relate and how easy it was for Cloud to just adapt Zacks persona. Course Mako Poisoning and Jenova Cells are a nasty mix to begin with. Definately might you leave you a little :garnet: in the morning =P. I liked the video though and how its different from the actual Tech Demo/intro to FFVII. It makes it feel more original and more like it came before the game since they don't actually show Cloud jumping off the train this time.

Natrually "To be continued in FFVII" that displays at the end of the video has intensified the FFVII remake port hype, but that is a whole different discussion thats already been beaten to death over and over again. Course you know some fans are just so rabid for a remake port of FFVII that they'll take whatever twig they can get to keep the fire hot. I personally believe that, that comment is just Square's way of reminding us that CC is a prequel and the story is continued in FFVII, in other words "if you're hungry for more FFVII awesomeness play the bloody game!"

Thats pretty much confirmed it in my opinion, the reason is that, if Square dont release it, they will be in trouble, Legally.

Its false advertising if they werent going to release it, as the graphics are very poor compared, and these showed PS3 graphics.

They say "To be continued in Final Fantasy VII" they wouldnt say that unless they were planning to release it again, it would be too hard for people to get a PS1 game that easy, They might release it on the PSP though.

You can't say its PS3 graphics because none of that was gameplay. The FMV's for FF have always looked far supior to the gameplay graphics, as evident by the fact that the PSP can play that video... but gameplay like that isn't possible.

And they can't be legally bound because they said to be continued. The story is, literally, continued in FFVII regardless of which version you're playing (remake or original) and so it isn't false advertisement.

But I do agree that this more than likely means that we'll be getting at least a PSP version. Mostly because they gave Cloud a voiceover in the video, and that hadn't been done yet.
