um vote? idc if entrants vote just dont vote for urself~

hahahaha yes i set up the poll right! =] i seriously havent even tried to make a poll since the holiday one

Azarath Angel - September 11, 2007 04:09 PM (GMT)
Hmm...this one is very hard...but for the wrong reason >.< I really dun like any of the entries that much ._.

Vespi - Professional looking as always...but this one doesnt carry that appeal that most of your other sigs have. I dunno if its the color scheme used, or the overall graininess of the sig...

SG - I like the rendered background...but the stock images are small, and there is alot of empty space. Text is also...well...yeah.

SD - Almost voted for you, as this is one of your better sigs. What killed it? The text. =\ Its in an awkward spot, and doesnt blend well with the overall feel of the sig. I still think ur sigs are way too big xD

Palglo - Another one I almost voted for. I like most of the sig...but just like SD, the text kills it.

TMC - Just...no... *shudders*

Overall...Vespi got my vote.

Vespertine - September 11, 2007 04:45 PM (GMT)
I voted for Palglo. I prefer it over the others although the text does need some work. I love the colours and the scans fit nicely.

As for the others they were all really good;

SG: I like the couple you chose and that you put a lot of effort into getting decent images of Selphie and Irvine as there aren't that many. I'm not keen on the background though. It's too heavy for my liking and detracts from the characters.

Shivadiva: Another good character pick, I like the colours you used it makes it look like old parchment or something. I'm not fond of the text though, like AzA said it kinda kills it. I'm also not fond of the effect you put over the characters, it looks a bit wierd.

TMC: Yours is good for the comedy value... Although slightly weird at the same time. I just think it's a bit too plain, but still good images!

Shivadiva - September 11, 2007 05:47 PM (GMT)
okies this one was hard for me to choose too

i love the background in sg's, vespi's looked very crisp but kinda plain, palglos looks really good but on inspection i just didnt like the large white spots, and tmcs while plain and simple its still makes me smile and i like how the pink fades and well its pink lol

tmc got mi vote

TheMissingCloud - September 12, 2007 06:35 AM (GMT)
^Yay! :caitsith: Take that AzA.

Vesp: There's just something about this sig that totally shows that its a Vesp sig. I don't know if its the text, the cool lamp post symbol that accents the text or the color scheme that gives it away. All I can say is you definately have a distinctive style and somehow I'd be able to pick your sig out of a group. I don't really have much else to say about it, I just wanted to get that comment out of the way. Good work.

SG: I like the background and the effect you used on it, but to be honest a picture like that is a little bit distracting for a background. Still works and looks good though. The characters renders, namely Selphie lack some quality, but that's not your fault at all you did what you could with what you had avaliable to you and sometimes the pictures you find are annoying restrictive. I've had that problem with a few of my Compliation sigs and even the sig for this battle, since I had to color the Squall pic myself. The text is kind of oddly placed, but yet it works and I can't really think of better place for it to be honest given where the other characters are. It may have a lot of space in the sig, but thats kind of always been your style.

Shiva: I like the effect you did with the sig simply because its something unusual and something I haven't really seen much. I like the way it has an older sepia-like feel to it. I don't think the text is bad at all, I just find it odd how the VA sticks out so much compared to the other worn letters. The border looks good and seems to top off the image making it seem a more professional than if it hadn't had one. To fit the style it would of been cool if the border gave a burnt parchment effect, but regardless its still a very artistic sig.

Palglo: The background looks good as do the characters renders. The only criticism I can offer is that the P blends in too well with the dark background there. Text that is rather clear and sticks out is kind of a pet peeve of mine. Other than that I don't really have much to say, it's a nice sig, looks real professional.

TMC: Well what can I say? The sig pretty much speaks for it's self. Mostly just me messing around with Photoshop doing what PS does best...image manipulation. At least on Barret anyway, since I took one of the Turk's, streched out thier suit for Barrets large composure and tacked on his head and a boquet of flowers. Barret was kind of an afterthough put in there to help the sig with the couple's theme a little better and also partly influenced by this. I hate how Squall is so out of place simply because I suck at coloring line art and can't do shading. Course the image was pretty hard to color in general. Here's the original. As for Cait Sith he comes directly from the image that will come to symbolize the Cross Dressers For Ever Club. Yet to be jokingly founded by yours truely.

I have not voted yet as I can't really decide. It's definately between SG and Palglo though since I'm such a freakin' sucker for blue. I'm leaning toward Palglo because of the professional look, but I'm gonna wait it out to see how others vote first, cuz I gotta stick up for the underdog and vote for SG if no one else does.

Stephen Griffiths - September 12, 2007 03:17 PM (GMT)
Vespertine: I always like your signatures, but this one im not to fond on, i dunno why... its just like it seems a bit rushed, i know this probably isnt the case, and i hope you dont hate me now :|

SG: It sucks, get out of the forum

Shivadiva: I love this couple, and this sig is absolutely amazing, i love how you made the stock look different, and sorta painted, but certain parts look more realistic, like steiners helmet, You got my vote

Palglo: Another one i really liked, but i thought it seemed a bit samey to all the other ones that people make, just my opinion though. (plus i hated XII :P)

TMC I liked this sig, and it made me laugh alot! the squall especially, but sorry mate it didnt get my vote (though i still think its hillarious)

So all in all Shivadiva got my vote.

Shivadiva - September 19, 2007 09:10 AM (GMT)
comeones peoples lets votes i know that there are more than 5 active people on this board! the poll wont bites ...

TheMissingCloud - September 20, 2007 05:58 AM (GMT)
I was gonna vote for everyone just to bump up the vote count, because I just realized multiple votes were allowed, but I didn't. I would offer to change the poll from multi choice to single choice, but aparently of all the things I can edit in the poll I can't edit that...figures.

I don't know if the multichoice was intentional or not, but I assume most people have already voted so I can't verify that I'm the only Chosen One to rule The Promised Land of this poll

lol nopes no clue thats what multichoice meant i thought thats what u had to put for more than one voting option to prevent this from happening holiday war vote massacre >.>

TheMissingCloud - September 20, 2007 08:10 AM (GMT)
Yeah Single-Choice(1) is what you pick when you only want people to be able to vote for one of the 5 sigs. Multi-Choice(5) would allow people to vote for all 5 sigs if they wished, Multi-Choice(2) would allow people to vote for up to two sigs, in case they were really torn between two. etc.

Ok who else voted for me and didn't post damn it!? Now we gotta have more people vote to break the tie, or just vote for someone else who took the battle seriously.

I probably should have taken this to PM, but its too late now I've already made a comment that adresses the whole topic =P

Valderon - September 21, 2007 09:46 PM (GMT)
Without seeming like I'm sucking up to the topic creator, I am voting for Shivadiva's simply because there are few Final Fantasy IX themed signitures and I really like the effect of it (in my simplist words).
