Title: Crisis Core Opening Video

Check it out

That's the offical opening for Crisis Core, subbed. Obviously if you don't want to see anything about this game for fear of spoilers before you have it your hands then you may not want to wach this; although even if you haven't seen it it may look oddly familar.

Either SOLDIER's train very hard to learn how to evade a rain of bullets or pretty much every soldier in FFVII has the worst aim humanly possibly, except of course for those tricky bastidges that killed Zack in FFVII. They were aparently the only one's who knew how to shoot...and Scarlet too since she took Barret's hand after confessing to be his mother...wait...

I can't wait for the US release of CC, I just don't want to buy a damn PSP just to play that game. Why can't Sony be cool and make a device that allows you to play PSP games on the PS2 or at least PS3...oh yeah, cuz then they'd be infringing on Nintendo's Game Boy Player for Game Cube coolness.

I'm honestly torn between the opening video here. I like it, its nice and flashy and cool and it has some obvious differences, but at the same time I feel it lacks so much effort. Hey lets just rip off the intro from the original game and glorify things for Zack's first mission, which if I find out happens to further include infiltrating the Mako reactor to stop some Wutai soldiers from sabotaging it I will be very up set. I mean its a nice hommage to the original, but at the same time it just seems like a lazy rip off. Almost like Square is trying too hard to make this spin off good. Well this intro worked good for the original, people like it, lets do it again, but with a little more flare. They are just trying too hard to conect Crisis Core to FFVII and give us yet more things that Cloud adapted from Zack's persona.

Overall from what I've seen Crisis Core just seems to be a rip off/alternate version of FFVII in a sense. Sephiroth doesn't go insane for a while so Zack needs an advisary, which just so happens to be a Sephiroth clone in a sense (Genesis). Basically in that time frame I just saw Zack as a normal SOLDIER who would protect Shin-Ra and its investments, not going on some glorious journey around the planet in search of some Sephiroth rip off. This has always been my favorite time frame of the game, but I'm just kind of disapointed and I don't really like what they have done with it. Course I can't really judge it much until I've played it.

Square killed FFVII. It was never that unrealistic(I mean, dodging hundreds of bullets and those jump moves, impossible). Plus, his voice sounds weird.

However with all of the comments in mind it looked rather cool.
