Title: *sigh*

Lokkin - March 27, 2007 07:58 PM (GMT)
I pride myself on being an avid FF fan(no d'uh, I'm on an FF Forum). I don't have FF12 :( I was gonna get it after my prelims but because of my crappy results I'm not allowed.

*sigh*

Can anyone give me a summary of the plot and maybe a description of the all new battle system?

Actually, scratch that, just the battle system, a plot summary will ruin it for me, I'll find out when I can get my hands on it.

the battle system is...fairly good, I hate the fact that your party members are stupid, and take forever to attack the enemy, even after using that stupid new system they have. uuug...I havn't beaten it yet, hell, Iv'e had it for about 3 months, and still havn't played it more than 5 times.

but it's an awsome game...just havn't gotten around to playing it yet lol.

Well...you control one character, and the computer controls the other 2(3 if you have a guest char). You can tell them what to do in the menu, or you can set Gambits which automatically tell them what to do, like "Attack nearest visible enemy".
The ATB gauge doesn't fill up after making a move, but after you've selected a move, it'll like charge the attack. you can still walk during that.

I think that's all...Tell me if I missed something XD

I'm a loyal FF fan but i though this was the best battle systems next to viii. You do control one character to run around as, but you can switch between them at will. You have things called gambits which is an AI in a sense. It tells the characters who to attack, who to heal and when. But by pressing X than scrolling over, you can tell the other characters to attack, do magic, use an Item, and who to attack on your own. There are no random battles, if there is an enemy you don't want to fight, just stray away from him, or if you find your self already in a conflict, just hold L2 and run. You have to at least rent it, and if you like it, then buy it.
