Well, here I am waiting for the postie.......
Sorry I haven't been on in awhile, but there seemed little point until I got my hands on FFXII.....and the postie is delivering it this morning!!
Yes, it's finally the UK release date....my copy was dispatched from Amazon yesterday, I have booked a very long weekend from work and am now sat waiting for the postie to arrive.......I CAN'T WAIT *Goes postie hunting*

Yeah, the wait was horrible... Luckily my favourite shop had the game two days before release, so I bought it two days ago ^^

haha go PLAY! Get into it and come tell us what you think. Overall I loved the game. it's probably my 4th favorite of the series.

Oh man...it's great! I am really loving it. I was so into it yesterday that I forgot to eat! LOL. I was like that with FF7.........
There is so much to explore. I spent AGES wandering around Rabanastre and talking to people. I have only just left to go find Penelo as I was doing a few of the 'hunts' inbetween breaking into the castle and meeting up with Ashe (Ameleia), Balthier, Fran and Basch. I am still getting used to the battle system...feels strange to be an observer in that after making the orders, my fingers twitch....LOL.
it's VERY Star Wars though Biggs and Wedge haven't made their appearance yet.
I like the licence system but it is taking a little getting used to as in finding a great new weapon but not being able to equipe it until I have that licence. That was annoying to start with but I have gotten more used to it now.
The graphics are amazing and the regular monsters are there along with a few new ones (imagine my surprise as being almost instantly wiped out by none other than T-Rex himself)
I still have a solid 3 days gaming in front of me before work looms again (or perhaps a 'sickie' is in order) so i am off to play again.....

I won't be able to play for the next frickin week...Can you imagine how that feels?
Anyways, the game is great. Not the best, but it still is great. The graphics are amazing, the battle, license and gambit systems work good, but I don't know about the story...it feels a bit weak. Maybe I'm not far enough to get the story fully, but until now...it doesn't seem right.
