Title: Elite Members and Members

PreZ - January 30, 2007 12:52 AM (GMT)
What is the difference?

Melancholy Rockit - January 30, 2007 01:18 AM (GMT)
not much at all. Elite just signifies that we've been around for a while and that we're dedicated to the forum...for the most part. Its kind of a reward for sticking around for a long time.

We also have a secret forum that just we can use, and we talk trash about all the non-elites.

PreZ - January 30, 2007 01:20 AM (GMT)
Nice.
Ok, you can lock this now.

kingtard - January 30, 2007 04:06 AM (GMT)
btw, how come I have more posts than pepe...but he's an elite member???

what do you have to do to become one?

BustaMo - January 30, 2007 05:08 AM (GMT)
It based more on the quality of posts that a member has made over his time here. Also, keep in mind that Pepe has been a member for a bit under a year than you. Basically, great post quality where the posts made contribute to the forum, and of course paying dues of being here a while helps too.

Probably another way to earn brownie points is to help out new members who are joining FFF when they ask questions and such. Maybe Ross, AZA, RA or RD would have a better explanation, but that's the best I could think of right now.

Red Demon - January 30, 2007 05:28 AM (GMT)
Uhh... no, Bustamo has pretty much hit the nail on the head. Just stick around and make good posts and your time will come! And theres no extras for being an elite member, its like pepe MR said, just recognition of dedication.

kingtard - January 30, 2007 05:54 AM (GMT)
Yeah k, just wondering. thnx for the info though guys.

can i be an elite member for being semi-active all the time and being a member snce like RPGPR? ^^

Melancholy Rockit - February 20, 2007 12:49 AM (GMT)
um, i dont see what being a member of RPGPR has to do with FFF. Just stick around man , post more and you'll get your dues. I had to stick around for a long time before i got mine haha

Azarath Angel - February 20, 2007 01:33 AM (GMT)
For the past couple years, we only promoted members during the anniversary week.

Fields - February 20, 2007 02:16 AM (GMT)
plus it was a very un-elite member thing to 1) ask to become an elite member and 2) rez this thread.

The force is strong in you Young Skywalker, but you are not a jedi yet!

Relient A - February 20, 2007 02:34 AM (GMT)
19 days is close enough to 14. It's more of a basic guideline. And with the currently activity level, i would think rezzing a topic a month or less old would be fine.

lykoleon - February 20, 2007 03:10 AM (GMT)
fine then--I can wait 2 more years -_-

Melancholy Rockit - February 20, 2007 04:23 AM (GMT)
thats the attitude I like!

Red Fox - February 20, 2007 08:34 AM (GMT)
heh...
Lykeon. RPGPR has nothing to do with FFF.
its just you, me and busty, and perhaps a few more from RPGPR..
