Just wondering, but is anyone getting Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings? Not sure how many DS owners we have here, but from the screen shots I've seen and the media news I've read in half-previews, it doesn't look like it would be too bad of a game.

I doubt I'll buy it as I don't have a DS, but possibly borrowing it is in consideration. I'm not to cracked about it being made in the first place because I hate spin-offs, but I guess if it's produced, there's no harm in trying it. Anyone gonna play it eventually?

A resounding yes is the answer from me.

I won't beat around the bush; I love 12, so a continuation of the story in some form is very welcome in my eyes. We're getting a more diverse cast with Ba'gamman ( an Bangaa ) and that new kid with from the winged race making sure it's not just some humes and a viera this time round. I'd also read somewhere that this one is set to feature the most summon creatures in any of the F.F.'s so far ( the current record being held by 6 if I remember ).

So I'm actually quite hyped about this one, I'm a lot more interested in this than the XIII series of games to be honest.

I think they need this to pay for XIII, XIII, will be a big game and they need all the money they can get, they also want to be safe, they don't want to repeat squares mistake.

Me? I love XII bes FF yet... except VIII (Not VII) So I will get reverent wings. I also want three, But being a teenager without a job, that is kind of hard. I also want Crisis Core. I support squenix through and through.

I bought a PSOne back in the day so I could play Final Fantasy VII.

I bought a PS2 so I could play Final Fantasy X.

I bought a Gamecube so I could play Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles.

I bought a DS so I could play Final Fantasy III.

So, yes, I'm buying whatever FF games release.

Definetly getting Revenant Wings I have a DSbut lets just say its a lil' dusty and I need some new games to make me more interested in it, so I think RW will do the trick. And I soon as I heard Sun and Steel tell us that this game will have the most summons out of any FF's, I was brimming with excitement!


Still waiting on more news of Crisis Core, I know some information about it but its only about the characters and a portion of the plot. It was meant to hit the shelves in 06' but obviously didn't but I really hope it makes an appearance in 07' as I have a PSP and need some more games to spice it up a bit like my DS.

A Final Fantasy XII Spin off. It seems pretty good, but there is little info about it.

Yeah, it's just another spin-off that's coming to the Nintendo DS and it focuses mainly on Vaan and Penelo's airship travels and such. I know that Espers such as Belias and Cuchlaín return from the main game and also a NPC named Ba'Gamman (those who have gotten far enough into FFXII will recognize this name, and also wonder how he can be in Revenent Wings after what takes place in the main game).

Not sure how good it will be, but I'm not a big fan of the idea of it being made in the first place. Will probably play it though if I can get my hands on a DS.

I will, but not on the day it comes out. Plus, I haven't even finished 12 yet.

and the spin-off should be about Fran and Balthier instead
