Title: BC cell phone

Ok. So BC is going to be on cell phone ONLY. Not only just the cell phone platform but a certain type of cell phone. The P900iV to be exact.
P900iVIt is the same phone that was in FFVII:AC. On top of THAT the phone is being sold only in Japan! :( So, BC is a Japan only release. For now. Thoughts? Angry posts?

Eh, that phone doesn't look too bad, but making it one phone exclusive is going to kill the fan-base for it. Sure it is going to promote that type of phone to fanboys, but the phone will garner more profits than the actual game I believe.
Squenix is making it so that if you are really really into the Final Fantasy series, you are going to have to purchase all these different platforms/handhelds/consoles, in order to play all the games you want. Ugh, it bugs me. I mean I want to experience "Before Crisis", but I'm not going to get a new phone just for it.

Yup. But even if you wanted to play BC you couldn't. The phone is only in Japan. I think the phone is really cool. But thats just me.

to be honest, I was expecting more from a japanese cell phone. I mean, they are so far ahead of us in cell phone tech and quality. The only Western phone that I've seen that even comes close is the iPhone which isnt even out yet and is going to be totally overpriced.
And I agree with Busta. A game people want to play on one type of phone... Its either going to be a big sell or flop harder than the nGage

Hmm tbh im not too bothered, ive never been a fan of phone games because they often have no gameplay value at all, I wouldn't be surprised if someone made a flash version of this on the net then we'd all be able to play it.

Actually, with the re-make hype that's been going on for the last 5-6 years or so, I wouldn't be surprised if over time we saw this game hit a portable handheld system like the GameBoy Gano or whatever they'll call the next gameboy in the next gen of handhelds. Sure it took FFIII forever to reach our shores, but I just have a feeling that if BD turns out really good, we'll see a port headed our way.

its a cell phone game.....
they could port it now. PSP, DS. It'll probably be the same with Agito or whatever that FFXIII one is called
