I know this has been mentioned before on this site, and I was wondering, which loot should I keep? Cause I'm desperate for money but after hearing all the cries of people selling loot they need for something in the future, I'd like a heads up

Well the Great SerpentSkin that you get as a reward from the Nidhogg hunt in the Lhusu Mines I would keep a hold of for the Patient in the Desert side quest. In the Dalmasca Eastersands you will ahve to help some lady heal a traveler who has become sick, and one of the remedies is the Great Serpent Skin. Apparently it is supposed to be exchanged for the Barheim Passageway Key which unlocks teh Barheim passage and the Zalera Esper is in there along with a few Hunt Marks.

HOWEVER, I did that sidequest, and he never asked me for the Great SerpentSkin. I have only 2 hunts, Zodiark, Hell Wyrm, Yiazmat, and Omega Mark XII to defeat before I have the game close to 100% complete, and STILL to this very moment, I ahve the Great Serpent SKin in my Loot list. I'm not selling it at all. I'm hanging onto it just for the hell of it since it's a one-time only deal. Plus it only garners you like 10-20 Gil if you sell it.

im not sure my ps2 died about 2 weeks into it =*( soo gonna have to buy a new one when i find a decent deal, but i did read somewhere that as u sell the stuff to the lil market guys it keeps up and there are like forumlas as to what u need to unlock certain bazaar stuff, generally for me when i play games first time through i dont sell anything that only sells for 1gil (or what ever currency)... as for spcefics im sure there are lists out there about what u need to keep and what u dont, but i dont use walk throughs till ive completed it once on my own then i figure out what all i missed first time through
