News article I wrote for our site. Do you guys think Square Enix should be spending time and money on projects like this? Sure we've already seen the movie and have what we want, but are these bonuses really worth the efforts of SE and the efforts of us as consumers buying them? I don't think so.

And Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children isn't complete until Square-Enix says so!
Rumors have been planted, the soil spread, but finally, the seeds are starting to sprout! Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has confirmed publically that on February 6, 2007 they will be releasing Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete for $49.95. Venice Film Festival footage will be added into this version as deleted scenes along with the short anime feature Final Fantasy VII: Last Order.
Bonuses also thrown into the package will include 10 postcards of certain artwork scenes from the film as well as a booklet based on the characters which consists of biographies of all your favorite heroes and enemies. Besides the obvious contents that were incorporated in the original DVD, an English movie script will be available in addition with an expanded The Distance: Making of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children featurette including all-new interviews by means of the English voice actors.

One word: Overkill. I'd like to see last order buuttt... I already bought the movie so I'm not going to buy it again.

Yeah I think SE is just trying to squeeze every last drop out of the FFVII franchise. They reaaaaally need to let it go, and start focusing more on their newer projects. I certainly won't be buying this.

I agree, but I might buy it, the only reason being that I haven't got AC yet(I have seen it), but then again... it costs a lot... and I already got Last Order off the net... I don't know.

Well I dont have it yet...it's a great movie, but not one that I can watch over and over again. But when the specail version comes out, Im probibly going to buy it.
