Title: Old School Advance

BustaMo - January 2, 2007 05:13 AM (GMT)
So FFIV, FFV, and FFVI, have either been released already or are about to be released on the GameBoy Advance. Many may have already played these on either the SNES, NES, Famicoms, or Playstation 1 remakes.

Does anyone intend oto or have already started playing the "Advance" versions of the game?

My assistant manager from work let me borrow FFIV advance for the GBA, and though I'm not going to start it until beat Final Fantasy VI on Anthology, I'm going to give FFIV a whirl and see how it goes.

Advance games anyone?

Oh yeah. I've played FFIV and it was nice, the graphics are kind of the same, but they look a lot better on a handheld. The sound is good, and the story is the same. I do like the change party members option, cause in the old versions you had to finish the game with Cecil, Kain, Edge, Rydia and Rosa, but in the Advance versions you could change them(except for Cecil I believe), so I took Kain out and put Cid in. He is incredibly strong.

But there's something that troubles me. I can't find any European release dates for V and VI Advance, and I mean not even a TBA. I really hope they'll be released here, cause I have this urge to play V, and my Playstation memory card is full.

Sorry for doubleposting, didn't want to create a new thread

As a reply to my previous post... I still hadn't seen any European release dates. I went to the local gamestore and was suprised to see FFVA next to FFIVA. I bought it right away, but when I started playing I noticed something was different.

-"Warning; Health & Safety" screen looked different
-No language choosing options(Not that it matters)
This is about the cover:
-The GBA logo had no blue linings
-All the logos(Nintendo, Squenix) were ordened differently
-It had an ESRB rating(Which they don't use in Europe)

Then I looked at the side of the cover:
"For use and sale in USA, Canada, Mexico and Latin-America only." If my geography is ok, The Netherlands are not included. I realised.

This is friggin import!

I don't mind, all I care about is the game, but what do you guys think?
