Hypothetically, if Final Fantasy X-2 was made with an all male cast of three... searching out a lost Yuna. What three characters would you have liked to have seen?

Easy Auron, Wakka and Tidus. I wouldn't have like to see Tidus again, but it probably wouldn't have worked without him.

Tidus, Wakka, and a new character. Since Auron is technically "gone" now, shouldn't we have someone new? or Auron could act as the Lulu equivilent.

I think it would be good as Gippal, Baralia, and Nooj. Although then they couldn't be like looking for Yuna, and they might have to make it an entirely new game. I can see it now... "Final Fantasy: Crimson Squad"

Yeah and with the addition of Paine a new male character would be in oder. I mean it's a sequal but it doesnt have to be all old stuff. I would love to see three guys teaming up to find Yuna.

Yea I'd lay Auron to rest since he's gone too. You have to have Tidus in there because he was the one that deep down, had the love interest in Yuna. I'm not sure if I would pick Wakka or Kimarhi though for the second character. I would only keep one though because I too woould love to see a new character in there resembling what Paine was in a way.

Personally I liked Wakka more, but Kimarhi had more of an attachment and duty to protect ehr sicne he was the one who promised Auron he would take care of Yuna untils he grew up...

Ahh damnit! I'm using 4 characters! Tidus, Kimarhi, Wakka, and "the new mystery man".

Umm.. Tidus is gone, too. At the end of FFX, he went off with Auron. I haven't seen the end of X-2, so if there's something I'm missing... yeah, I'm missing it.

I threw Tidus in there with the notion of him being "not dead" but able to come back when he realizes Yuna is in danger and his dream then lives on. I did think up that point though that you mentioned Relient, but man, just had to have Tidus in it. It's like her Knight in Shining armor coming to save her. Except with a puberty-cracking voice and someone who has almost the same hair-dew as her...not good for a guy.

I never realized it, but that makes quite a few people who died or disappeared in FFX. Jecht, Tidus, and Auron. It's pretty cool, actually.

I can't really think of three people I'd like to play as if those three characters are gone. You'd need a leading hero and Wakka can never be more than a support character. Kimari... let him just go teach schoolchildren or whatever. I never cared for him.

It might be interesting to have a completely different perspective on it. I've always wanted to play as Braska, Jecht, and young Auron on their summoner's journey... but maybe you could fudge a "world event" which allowed the pyreflies of the unsent souls (which all of them are) to kinda reincarnate the person. It would add depth to see if they were real or not... and it would be cool to see them compare their past to the future, especially since you already know Yuna's past in Spira. It'd let you play as that trio, like I've always wanted to, without having you replay the same story as FFX only with different characters. It's definately an interesting thought.

Remember to mark your spoilers people, even if they are for FFX! Just incase people haven't completed it yet and started FFX-2 anyway!

Anyway... If there were a team of men put together to find Yuna that would make me assume that FFX would have had to of ended differently or her to just dissapear off of the face of Spira. Although Wakka would send out a search party for her anyway, it's still nice to think that Tidus would be there and the one organising everything.

So if FFX had ended differently (to make this work slightly better and still have a slushy reunion at the end) I would say:

Wakka, Tidus and Kimahri

With FFX's ending as it is I would say:

Wakka, Kimahri and a new character.

Kimahri would most definatly be out there looking for Yuna, he cares for her alot and even though I'm not over keen on him it would make sense.

I think it would be Tidus, Auron, Kimari.

Sure Tidus is gone, and Auron is too, but i mean still, what if Auron came back lol

Tidus does come back in the end, but what if they have to look for Yuna this time when there together. lol true love hehe.... :tidus: :yuna:
