You may want to try looking around in other topics instead of starting a brand new one. This is because no one really likes regurgitating what has already been said quite a many time. So, looking in the Dalmasca Empire board is a good way to get the most info you can get without posting a completely new topic.

I've read that it'll get released on 1th of August in either the US or in Europe. I'm not sure, actually=P And... I don't seem to remember where I've read it o_O

Well, that may be optimistic. It is being released in Japan around about now (or should be at last reports) Which means all you lucky Americans will have it in about 1 year and all us unlucky, forgotten and left-out UK residents will have to bide our time, twiddle or thumbs and HOPE that we see a glimpse of the elusive FFXII before 2008.

It's going to be released in Japan on 16th March. So it won't take too long from it's released in one country to another. I think (and hope) it'll be released in Europe during January or February ^_^ But that's only my guess.

Jan Feb 07 from what you've put here......great only another 13-14 months...time for a spree killing I think to release all that pent up energy (on GTA not IRL...or maybe...no no GTA...it's safer)

I have just read the latest 'PLAY' mag and it says that the release date for the UK could be August or September 2006.....

This is what I've heard as well and that was my source too, on gamespot. It's weird, ususally big name games don't come out in Summer time. And if I'm correct, Aug 1, 2006 is a Tuesday, usually when the games hit the shelves in the U.S.

I went and reserved the game a couple of weeks ago (yes, they are already taking reserves) and I was told August 1st as well. Of course, after the Zelda: Twilight Princess incident, I haven't trust those people at Gamestop or Nintendo. Thankfully S-E is neither of them.

Where are you buying on reserve right now? Is EBgames taking preorders already for FFXII?

That must be an old link. This date has come and passed, and we are not going to see any FFXII until March in Japan, and possibly August in America. America still tentative date.

I've heard about a gazzilion different dates...It makes Kagga sad :'(
most sites say it's going to be released FEB-MAYish (a load of poop if you ask me) and then a few say not until 2007. And this is a UK release...
