Dashed Border::Tutorial

Well heres how to put a lovely dashed border on your work

First Open Adobe Photoshop and create a new image <Ctrl+N> and put it to these settings
<Width-8 pixels>
<Height-8 pixels>
<Resolution-72 pixels/inch>
<Mode-RGB>
<Contents-Transparent>
Stage One

Now take your pencil tool with the pixel of one and colour your little square like this
Stage Two

Now go to <Edit~Define Pattern> and call it whatever you want
Stage Three

Now you can close this image and open up the image you wish to add the border too

Now get the rectangle marquee tool and draw a box with a one pixel margin around the image
Stage Four

Now go <Select~Inverse>
and then go to <Edit~Fill> and choose your pattern
Stage Five

Change the opacity to get different effects
Congrats you've just dashed your image
