Heres the first chapter to my even shinyer than before fanfic. I hope you all like it. Everyone Who's signed up WILL be mentioned but theres no rush so here we go!

Buckle your seatbelts and restore your trays to the upright position. We are now embarking on a journey to a magical world full mystical things where anything can happen........





CHAPTER 1: The Outset





??? Our power is failing. A force. Destroying our seal.

???? Do something thy must, lest the peril unlinquish hell

??? The power you need is out there. The power is behind there

???? Travel yonder through all medians. The time is nigh

??? Go now. You must succeed………….


???: “kd……..KD……..KD WAKE UP!!!!!!!!”

KD: “Wuh eh huh I’m awake what’s wrong!!!!!!”

???: “Nothings wrong you asked me to wake you up about now. You ok kid? you’ve been sleeping a lot lately”

KD: “Oh yeah sorry Matthias I forgot. I’m kool just been having weird dreams lately”

Matthias: “Hehe are you excited about Saturday? I was when I was your age. It seems like only yesterday I got my shot at training with the legendary one. I wasn’t a good enough fighter back then but it was still pretty fancy to get dressed up and compete with the rest of the fledges”

KD: “How many fledges were there when you were 18?”

Matthias: “hmmmmmm let’s see…… I guess you could say there were about 60 of us in all. Some had trekked for weeks!!! I’m glad Heimly is only a 2 day walk away.”

KD: “2 days through 1 hell of a forest!!”

Matthias: “Don’t worry about that forest!!! You’ve been able to slay the toughest monsters in that forest ever since I found you in there”

KD: @_@ “I was only a baby when you found me!!!”

Matthias: “Ok maybe not straight away but since you’ve grown up you’ve become strong”

KD: “Thanks to you…….OOH I remember why I needed you to wake me now, Vespi’s gonna give me one last workout before I head off tomorrow and Ross said he’d something to give me”

Matthias: “Always off training and rushing about…….I feel sorry for Goda, after you beat all the fledges you’ll probably whoop his butt and teach him a lesson”

KD: “Haha I wouldn’t be able to lay one hit on Goda but I know I have to win that lesson”

Matthias: “You will my boy, you will. Train hard and go make an old man proud”

KD left the house where him and Matthias had always lived and made his way down to the lake where him, Vespi and Ross always trained. He passed the final street lamp on the road and turned off onto the gravel path staring up at the sky seeing dusk gently settling in….

???: “FIRE!!!”

*A ball of flames shot past KD stopping him in his tracks*

???: “NOW FEEL THE ALMIGHTY WRATH OF THE GODS………ULTIMAAAAAA!!!”

KD: “ HAHA sure Ross what are you gonna do for your next trick, flare me?”

Ross: “lol heya bro how’s it going??”

KD: “Same ol same ol. Still getting those weird dreams. Matthias reckons it’s cos I’m excited to be going to the sangrakara on Saturday”

Ross: “Nah you just eat too much cheese before bed. It’s bad for you, I told you that!”

KD: “pfft whatever……. What is it you wanted to give me?”

Ross: “I know how serious you are about winning a lesson with Goda and I figured you need all the help you can get. I want you to have this. My grandparents left it too me but it’s not my style.”

KD: “Omg power bracelets!!!!!! They’re amazing!!!!! Are you sure???”

Ross: “fo sure. Me striking your ass with lightning’s still gonna hurt like hell and no amount of strength will ever change that……I’m not exactly gonna whack someone with my wand now am I ?!!!!!!”

KD: “I guess……still though these are pretty amazing”

Ross: “Just don’t expect a x-mas present too”

???: “Huzzah!!! Ross you gave him your power bracelets!!!!!”

Walking up from the lake a silhouette of a tall slender woman filled the view. As she got closer her long dark hair shone in the twilight sun

KD: “Hey Vespi goes it?”

Vespi: “It goes good…I’m so excited we get to leave for”

KD: “We???”

Ross: “Come on you didn’t think we’d let you go on your own without a little support from your friends???”

Vespi: “Ross even bought pom poms and a skirt to cheer you on with!”

Ross: “Vespi didn’t wanna wear a skirt cos of her hairy legs”

Vespi: “HEY!!!”

Ross: “You started it =P ”

KD: “Thanks guys this’ll be a blast”

Ross sat on a log by the side of the lake studying various scrolls as Vespi and KD launched attack after attack at one another. The shrill crunches of metal on metal were heard for miles as Vespi peppered KD with tens of quick blows from each of her axes KD standing firm deflecting them with his gunblade before counterattacking with a lightning quick side-step-slash.

Vespi: “Gah……ah…….ah…….You always get me with that”

KD: “Huff…….uff…….uff……..You always block everything else”

Ross: “You guys should call it a day. You’ll have no energy left for tomorrow’s travelling”

Vespi: “Ross’ right lets call it a night”

Sheathing her axes she turned towards the steep gravel path leading up to town and as she walked she gave Ross just enough of a nudge to push him off the back of the log.

Ross: “Wuuaaaaaaaaah…………..Blizzard!!”

Vespi: “EEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKK”

As Ross fell behind him he cast a strong blizzard spell on the steep path Vespi was skipping up. With the path Iced up she had nowhere to go but back down and screamed as she slid past Ross’ log.

Ross: “I’ve told you before, If you start it I’ll finish it!”

Vespi: “Meanie!!!”

After helping Vespi up, KD, Ross and Vespi walked up a gentler path back into town.

KD: “This is gonna be our last night here for a while so let’s make it a gooden. First rounds on me”

Ross: “That’s what I like to hear”

Vespi: “Yay!!! To the Orc’s Goblet!!!!!”

Good chapter K_D. It's great to see you've started Final Fantasy F-2. This was a great fist chatper and started things off well and of course it wouldn't be complete without the all the cool wise cracks that only you could come up with. Keep up the good work man and do you plan to fit "Muffin Princess" into every chapter again?

needed a girly main character and you have more hair to have shaved off than Ross and I do put together =-p

As I said, this one is going to be bigger so that means a bigger main parrty too!
