why not a member of the week/month we could see who has doen the most quality posts or whatever like ross or kd or one of the mods could see it and vote in the mod lounge to see whats what

I like this idea a lot, well member of the month anyway. They do this on a forum I use. What they do is that the mods/admins make a topic in the staff forum where they say who they think should be nominated. After that all the members mentioned get put into a poll and everyone votes on who they think should win.

I know you may think that people would get offended if they were not nominated or lost the vote, but on my forum it works well and the members never seem to moan or complain, about it...and if they do I tell them off ;)

i think thats a great idea and how can they complain abotu not being nominated if the nominations are made in the mod or admin forum whatever where all the other members can actually see it

I don't see this as a good idea. All it really does is promote favoritism. And theres really no way to judge who was the best poster.

Yeah I agree with Relient on this one, I like the idea but it would promote favouritism and it would make those who didn't get it be angry or upset, though it could also make them try harder to get the award...yeah I think no really.
