It is warrior because he is so strong and if he amped up with haste and fury then he can (for me) kill chaos in 7 hits. Also he turns into a knight


My next favourite in decending order are.

1. White Mage/White wizard
2. Black Mage/Black wizard
3. Thief/Ninja

I didn't use the others but proberly

4. Monk/Master
5. Red mage/Red wizard

The BEST class, as in the most useful, is Red Mage... hands down. It can fight, use black magic, use white magic, and has decent HP.

As for my favourite... that's Black Mage. Just because he looks so cool. But when he turns into Black Wizard he looses all of his cool. Damn that sucked.

My black wizard looked exactly the same and i just started the game again and I do see the greatness of the red mage.

The best class? Red mage. What can I say? It's jsut amazing. He can sub in anywhere! Oh no, someones hurt and the WM is out of MP? RED MAGE! Oh no, my knight is killed and the WM is *enter status abnormalty here* RED MAGE! Oh no, my black mage has run out of MP? RED MAGE!

uhugh I also love red mages, they cant cast level8 spells though

The fighter/warrior, plain and simple. The class was made very unbalenced. The guy can equip all the best armor in the game, making most attacks at the begining do only 1 to him. He gets even better with a ribbon, making him immune to status effects and makes those stupid dragon breath attacks do a lot less. Second, he's got the best weapons in the game. For most dungeons, this guy can do the damage of what mages do with their best spells. For most of the game, you can find his weapons and armor in chests, minimizing the amount of money needed to spend on him. Even without brining his massive HP into the discussion, he's easily the best.

i quite like the mage and warrior classes they both pwn

its true the red mage is awesome he looks cool too. I love the feather hat.

I believe the best class is black mage, simply becauseof their move...ummm....the one that works like berserk and powers up attack...sorry havent played the game in ages. Anyway with that move thats how I beat deathgaze, shinryyu, but it didnt have an effect on omega, and I actually had a party 3 black mages and a warrior and DECIMATED Chaos in the last battle, literally. Oh btw i play the GBA version so if you were wondering who deathgaze and shinryyu were play DOS.

Fighter/ Warrior all the way.

They are nice and strong at the start, so you can actually win some battles, and they are also pretty good later on, even though the monk becomes more powerful.

i like the warrior but

the monk he gets crazy strong at the i have
done 876 damage with the monk
(max damage for the monk that i have done)
end even with his hp it is max

I voted for Warrior, just for the sheer amount of HP he takes off with his hits. If I play FF1 again in the future I will be going for this line-up...

I voted Warrior just because of the shere strength they should have when fighting. My second option would be Red Mage because of the various spells that can be performed combining those of other mages.

So know i would say... Red mage... just so powerfull with me and my warrior is too... but magic i like so red mage
