Mmm.. Well, I don't have anything against dubs, but I was watching the dub of Soul Hunter on the international channel... and well... I thought Tenka sounded sooooooo weird o.o;;; He's my fave char in the manga.. but if he's going to sound like a aussie/thug person... Then uh.. that's just odd o.0;; I didn't even know there could be that kinda combination! XD Oh and Nataku's voice.. lmao... cyborg-human-ny! XD yeah.. dubs are fun o.o;; Plus I always thought of Taikou as more of a kid than how old he really is so that sorta bugged me for a bit until it sorta grew on me.. Plus I read somewhere that they messed up on Youzen's char and made him more evil or something... I've only seen one episode!!! Don't kill me!! x.x;; *runs off*

We love our Soul Hunters here!! When I first watched it there were some voices I didn't care for at first. Then, Ty-chou is like "have you watched the dub? It is so funny!!!" So after I watched it in Japanese and I got it back (my DVDs were making their rounds) I watched it dubbed. At first I didn't give it a chance, but I think it is a great dub!! I'm glad Ty-chou told be to watch it in English. I don't think they made Youzen sound real evil or anything.....hm....maybe I need to go watch it again

Yeah! That's friggin' right! The dub of Soul Hunter's rocks! It's one of the best dubs I have ever seen! Right up there with Hellsing, Those Who Hunt Elves, and Generator Gawl. And I really liked Tenka's voice. I liked it because he was new. He wasn't some voice actor they had recycled a billion times over. That, and also because he couldn't sing very well and it only added to the charm of his character. They had a lot of new or not so used actors in Soul Hunter which is just one of the many reasons why I love the dub. Not only did the dub rock, but the English script was very good as well. It explained more and it helped me understand the show better. Those ADV guys were on their best with this show. They researched it into the ground. If you get a chance, I reccomend reading the translation notes after watching each DVD. They're very insiteful and sometimes really funny. That's why ADV is the best distributer around right now.

Now, if we could only get out of them the release date for Pretear. *shakes fist* Tell us!
