Okay, Rachel posted a thread in AA about this series so i went to the library to get the first one SLoppy Firsts and I love it! I'm stil reading it and I'm almost done but it's great!

I really like Jessica because she's really funny, she is a reeeeaallly good runner, she's smart (hahah her IQ is higher than her parents :lol:) and she's a little like Gaia! ^_^

Man, I finally got to read them and I LOVE THEM!!! I like the Fall poem too and I like the Crodile Tears one where Marcus sings for her and says that 'the fall was all my fault'. But I can't wait until like 2006 for Charmed Thirds...I should join whatever forum that is, though.

OMG! These are my favourite books ever! I love them sooooo much. I've re-read them so many times now. I practially know them by heart. It was very exciting for me. A few months ago I emailed Megan McCafferty and she emailed me back! And posted my email on her page for a while. That was such a cool feeling.

Anyway, if your a die hard Jessica and Marcus fan, you'll be happy to hear that the third Jessica book will be out some time in 2005 or 2006....Still seems like forever, I know. Believe me, I've been dying for the third one ever since I finished reading the second one (I got it the day after it came out in 2003). Oh, the third Jessica book will likely be called "Charmed Thirds" or something along those lines. The main reason why it is taking Megan so long to write it is because its going to span all of Jessica's university career. That means its going to be extra long! I can't wait, I can't wait.

When I re-read those books now, I mostly just scim them, because I already know them so well. I usually skip to my favourite parts and just feel my smile get bigger and bigger. Or, skip to a funny part and give my tummy muscles a good work out.

There is just something about Jessica that I find I can relate too. I think most people feel that way too. That cool alienation that most people get in high school happens to many people. The way she acts and talks represents a lot of teens. The attitude is definatly accurate.

Then, of course, there is Marcus. *Sigh* Marcus *sigh*. I wish I had my own Marcus. How cool would that be?

Anyway, thats all I have to say on this topic at the moment. If you haven't read this books, I suggest you do so soon. You won't regret it. Oh, Megan also has another book called "Sixteen: Stories from that sweet and bitter birthday" its a collaberation of stories around, you guessed it, turning 16. There is even a prequel to Sloppy Firsts in it. Its a good book, not great, but still a good read.

okay i found out that the third one comes out on April 11, 2006......soo far away! I read the second one like the day after it came out, which was in april 2003....so by then it will be three years!

hmmm, well, milo and i are waiting even longer than that for each other..............but, thing is i know the book is a for sure thing...milo isnt :P

Yeah, I found out about the April 11 release and was like, WHAT?? I have to wait a whole year? But I guess it better be worth it if we get to see Marcus and Jessica together. And since the book is gonna be covering a lot more time than the other two books did. And the official Megan McCafferty website is gonna undergo a makeover which is gonna be awesome, because Megan's gonna have the debut of her blog.

Well...it covers a longer period of time, but the book takes place during her holidays. I don't think we'll actually get to see her in her day to day collage life...kind of sad.

I have a feeling that Jessica and Marcus are going to be having some problems. I mean, lol....it's pretty obvious. I think they may even break up for a while (you know Jess and her drama)......but, hopefully they'll be back together in the end.

I kind of suspected that they would have relationship problems since they got together and then Marcus had to leave..so there's distance between them too. But then you read what Megan had to say in that interview with popgurls and it's like--god, I hope she doesn't end their relationship and call that the end of the Jessica Darling books. But I thought that the books were gonna cover like the the summers before and after her first year at college and those too winters too...I thought that meant like all of the time in between too..I guess I'll have to double check or something. Maybe you're right.

I dont know, i just heard it was going to cover the time during her holidays, but not when she is actually doing school...it is suppose to take place during her 4 years at collage, I guess it sort of makes sense then, becausae then it would be VERY long....

Yeah, I like the new look too, but I thought that she was actually gonna have like a blog of recent happenings, but it's a "retro" one..which is kinda cool too...I just can't believe I have to wait for almost a year to get it...do you think Marcus and Jessica will break up? It just seems like their relationship wouldn't exactly be peachy perfect..but I don't know, I guess her interview was all like, oh love is rarely perfect and so I'm feeling a little pessimistic about their relationship. And there's nothing to talk about so I have to speculate.

Yeah, I mean it is Jessica, nothing never comes easy for her. There relationship will not go perfect while they are both in post secondary. Something big will happen, but I recon they will be together in the end :)
