fearless_shaz - March 17, 2004 10:05 PM (GMT)
ok my theory is that francine pascal isn't the one who is writin the books.....i think this becasue in her sweet valley she used to have someone called suzanne sumitn....2 write dem 4 her as well...
also the way the books have bin written have changed the style...do you get where im cumin 4rmmmm.....dats why fearless aint the same anymore

kendra - March 18, 2004 01:03 AM (GMT)
Hmm..I haven't noticed much change, but I haven't read a fearless book in awhile. I'm reading A Tree Grows In Brooklyn. I'm not allowed to read my new Fearless until I'm done it, so...yea!

Raquel - March 18, 2004 01:16 AM (GMT)
i think your right shazz eventhough i hate to think that there is a ghost writter

EdLuver - March 18, 2004 02:45 AM (GMT)
i think that there is a ghost writer, i mean, i've seen other names that help with the books, Tucker Shaw owns Alloy, i dunno much about that, though, and there are a couple more, besides, the story line of fearless has changed soooo much (she went running and she came back when loki shot the bullet, she was in the living room playing Chess with tom, and katia got shot, she's a sophmore, no wait, she's not a sophmore...the mention collage, whats up with that? was Ed 18 all alone or what? is Megan the leader of FOHs...ect)

fearless_fan - March 18, 2004 01:13 PM (GMT)
that's what happened to nancy drew! and the new ones sucked!

Edroxmyworld - March 18, 2004 01:39 PM (GMT)
u kno i am kinda thinking maybe that there is a ghost writer. fearless does change a lot and its really weird.

*sweet*hello*kitty - March 31, 2004 07:40 AM (GMT)
They'll usually say "created by Francine Pascal" and then say the authors name inside.

darkchild2 - March 31, 2004 09:41 AM (GMT)
I agree with you.

Edroxmyworld - March 31, 2004 01:46 PM (GMT)
who do u agree with darkchild2?

yeah so that means more then 1 person could be writing them

hope413 - March 31, 2004 08:19 PM (GMT)
I've been very angry with the books lately...and I don't think Francine Pascal should get any credit for writing any of the books what so ever. Because I believe she hasn't written a single one. <_<

Raquel - March 31, 2004 08:36 PM (GMT)
well she HAd to have written atleast one i hope

*sweet*hello*kitty - March 31, 2004 08:47 PM (GMT)
They'd have to put the authors name inside. It's illegal not to, so if she didn't write them then it will say.

Raquel - March 31, 2004 09:00 PM (GMT)
then why does she keep contradicting everything she had in the earlier books?

*sweet*hello*kitty - March 31, 2004 09:05 PM (GMT)
No idea... Does Francine have a website? Maybe you should try to contact her & tell her your thoughts.

Raquel - March 31, 2004 09:07 PM (GMT)
well there is francinepascal.com but that isn't up and running yet and it has benn undre constuction since 2001

*sweet*hello*kitty - March 31, 2004 09:09 PM (GMT)
Hm... Guess that ideas out the door... Her site is kinda like Patricia Cornwell's. Under construction forever.

Raquel - March 31, 2004 09:11 PM (GMT)
whose that? and yes it sux that the site isn't up

*sweet*hello*kitty - March 31, 2004 09:12 PM (GMT)
She's an author. Very awesome.

Raquel - March 31, 2004 09:21 PM (GMT)
ooh what books does she write?

*sweet*hello*kitty - March 31, 2004 09:26 PM (GMT)
She writes about a medical examiner named Kay Scarpetta. I love the books, my mom & sister got me into them.

fearless_shaz - March 31, 2004 09:36 PM (GMT)
could you tel me a bit more about them they seem fun

*sweet*hello*kitty - March 31, 2004 09:39 PM (GMT)
Well its been around for a while. They're a very popular book series. Kinda hard to describe them other than kick ass books.

Laine - April 1, 2004 05:04 AM (GMT)
FP does have a ghostwriter and I think I told katia or someone that I would give them a link to an interview with FP but I've never gotten to it!! I think you can go to bookmagazine.com and try to search for it there, cause i think that's the html. And I tried to go to FP's site, but it "could not be found". huh.

*sweet*hello*kitty - April 1, 2004 05:30 AM (GMT)
It just seems highly unlikely she'd take credit for the books if someone else wrote them.

Laine - April 1, 2004 10:06 PM (GMT)
It's because she sells her series, so she's still making money out of it anyhow....

fearless_shaz - April 1, 2004 10:28 PM (GMT)
yeh becasue at the end of the day..it her series...everyone else is just adding parts to that series......

*sweet*hello*kitty - April 2, 2004 02:21 AM (GMT)
Right but whoever writes them would get credit.

allyar - April 2, 2004 02:29 AM (GMT)
I agree. I kinda hope that if there are ghost writers they should stop and let FP( since she's get all the credit) writing them from now one because they are her characters and she's they only one that would really know who Gaia would pick. Plus I liked the first couple of books that she wrote.

*sweet*hello*kitty - April 2, 2004 04:43 AM (GMT)
I hope they stop the soap opera crap soon. Its getting old... -_-

In the interview, FP said that the guy (it's a guy ghostwriter, btw) didn't want credit.

fearless_fan - April 2, 2004 05:08 PM (GMT)
a guy ghostwriter?!

*sweet*hello*kitty - April 2, 2004 06:11 PM (GMT)
Hmmm... Seems odd an author ghostwriter or not would want credit for their work.

this is true, it really is and its amazing that there actually is a ghostwriter, and it is kinda strange that they wouldn't credit, hmm? ::ponders::

*sweet*hello*kitty - April 3, 2004 02:40 AM (GMT)
It just seems to me, that when a person writes a book they'd want credit, Otherwise why be an author?...

fearless_fan - April 5, 2004 02:14 PM (GMT)
i know really! that's IS the whole point.

*sweet*hello*kitty - April 5, 2004 04:46 PM (GMT)
Exactly.

fearless_shaz - April 5, 2004 04:47 PM (GMT)
the ghost writer odes credit.......but at the end of the day FP was da once who made the series....

*sweet*hello*kitty - April 5, 2004 05:13 PM (GMT)
It would be like the Sweet Valley books where it says created by Francine Pascal. But every book not written by her states the author inside.

Edroxmyworld - April 5, 2004 05:18 PM (GMT)
really? thats weird plus if i did help somebody write a book, i would want credit but u know thats just me
