this is my fanfic...i just started today...soo....here it is!! ^_^

Swing Swing

Get Low was playing, the real party song. Mandy was having such a good time with her friends at a party that they crashed. They all had no clue what was going on around them. Mandy loved that song. She started dancing, and suddenly felt someone behind her; it was Kyle. They ended up grinding and she felt so great being with him, this close. God he was so hot. He was such a good dancer, too. So sexy. He was so hot. She couldn’t resist. She got closer and they were really dancing close now. The next thing she knew, she was passed out next to Kyle on the couch. At least, she felt like she was passed out. No, she was just tired from all the dancing. She could feel Kyle staring at her. She was wondering what was going through his mind.

Mandy Cooper woke up with the amount of zero energy. It was 7:00, and after pressing the snooze button for the fifth time that morning, she decided it was time to get up. It was the first day of school, and you really can’t be late for the first day. Besides, she couldn’t wait to see her best friends Audrey, Sam, Clara, and especially Kyle. Mandy had secretly fallen for Kyle in the summer, when the incident happened. She calls it an incident because it is never spoken about; it’s like an un-written rule. Her dream was about the incident, which she often dreamed about because it was the only way to talk about it. God, he was so hot. Ok, Mandy, concentrate. It was 7:15 now, after all of that thinking. She got up out of bed, stretched, yawned and walked to the bathroom. She ran into her sister, Caitlin. They call her Caiti. She ran to the bathroom and slammed it in Mandy’s face.
“Nooooo!” Mandy groaned. She heard Caiti laugh. She stood outside waiting then brushed her teeth and washed her face. She walked out of the bathroom in her teletubby pajamas riding low on her waist and her tight white t-shirt. She pushed the button on her stereo to play her cd. Switchfoot came on, full blast. She did a dance while picking out her outfit.
“Maybe we’ve been livin with our eyes half open…maybe we’re bent and…Jesus, why is it so hard to pick out a goddamn outfit? Its just school.” Mandy sang, and interrupted herself with her thoughts.
“We are more than this world’s got to offer!!!!!!!!” Mandy sang at the top of her lungs, while she picked out a short black and red striped skirt.
She took out a sleeveless black shirt and her red converse shoes, which she adored, and put everything on together. She brushed her already straight dirty blonde hair and she looked pretty good. She put on some lipgloss, and didn’t need makeup on her fair, perfect, American skin. She called out to her sister,
“Can you give me a ride, Caiti? Please??” Caiti comes around, and Mandy gives her a pouty face.
“Fine. Why are you wearing lipgloss? You’re only in tenth grade.” Caiti says. Mandy raises an eyebrow, but doesn’t start any trouble so she will drive her to school.
Mandy walked out of the house and into her car. She slammed the door.

And I like how you kept on mentioning that this Kyle guy is hot...usually I would say that it's being repetitive, but in this case, it's funny. Did you name it Swing, Swing after the All-American rejects song? They rock too....:D

lol same but im trying to say the sister lik is weird and thinks shes too young even though shes a grade younger...(this is what my sister, Catie, does...) lol

That's cool. But on a different note, some people just don't know when to stop with the make-up. i don't wear any on account of the fact that i think you can live without it. Some may think otherwise...oh and about that little risque dance sequence back there..what was that about? Personally it's so weird how some people are about the parties and drinking and stuff and they're like one year older than me, sometimes not even. Ok, enough being the parent...just don't disappoint and make her out to be all rebellish--actually rebelish is Ok, as long as she doesn't smoke--I don't like smokers (don't you hate them at the mall, it's like they don't want you to breathe)--or drink. hard to be without that huh?

Yeah, well what do I know? I'm like the complete opposite, to say the least. just don't make her slutty. :D

i think this is a really cool story. i dont think that you need to limit mady's character like laine thinks, but i thik that me and laine are just different. i like mandy, you made her really real.... even if she listens to switchfoot. :P

Mandy had known Kyle since she was two. They had gone to preschool together when their moms became good friends. They decided to send their kids to the same school, Charodin Rode, close to where Mandy lived in Chicago, in an apartment building. She usually walked to school, but today she had to come in style, I mean, it WAS the first day. She arrived at her school in her sister’s light blue audi, and when she got out of the car she met with Clara and Sam.
“Hey guys!” Mandy said.
“Hi Mandy!!” they said in unison.
“Uh…where’s Kyle? And Audrey?” Mandy asked.
“Oh, Audrey’s probably late, as usual, and as for Kyle…I have no clue.” Clara responded. Mandy scanned the school for Kyle. She saw a small group of kids, a bigger group of kids, then a huge one. She decided it was the “popular” people. Wow, her school was so shallow. She decided to look there for Kyle, because Sam told her once that he had a huge thing for Lindsay, the school’s most popular girl. It sounds so stereotype but it really was true of her school. She gazed around in the crowd and saw dark brown hair in the glistening sun and chocolate colored eyes set on her. He smiled. Kyle…was so hot. It had been waaay too long.
He jogged over and picked up Mandy and swung her around while she squealed. They hugged.
“Oh my gosh, Kyle, I haven’t seen you since- forever!” Mandy saved herself.
“Yeah, I know, I can’t believe it’s been so long!” Kyle said. Mandy caught a whisp of black-ish hair and a big smile from behind her. She turned away from Kyle.
“Audrey!” Mandy called out. Audrey ran to her and they embraced each other.
“Okay, what happened to you all summer?!” Mandy asked her.
“I was busy acting and modeling!” Audrey said.
“I swear, someday, you’re going to be like the next Lucy Lui, Audrey."
Audrey laughed and a light blush krept on her.
The bell rang.
“No!! Uh. I don’t know what classes I have. It’s like..the first day, and I’m already so unorganized.” Mandy said. She took out a folded-up-twice-paper she got on book day a few weeks ago, and saw that she had…History. Ugh.
“History. Who has history first period?” Mandy asked hopefully.
“I have it first. Cool.” Kyle said.
“Awesome! I won’t be alone in my first class. But why, oh why must it be History?!”
“I wouldn’t talk, I have science first.” Sam complained.
“Oh, good, I have science first too.” Clara said.
“Sure, I’m all alone in…drama,” Audrey said, “I always get stuck alone!”
The late bell rang.
“Oh, that’s perfect. Just perfect.” Mandy said. She grabbed Kyle’s arm and started running.
“We’ll meet you in the lounge later!” She screamed behind her to her friends. Mandy and Kyle ran until they found their room, #39, World History. They walked in as their teacher was taking attendance.
“Late on the first day, aye?” Their teacher asked. He was tall, medium sized, and he had gray hair and large glasses.
“We’re really sorry, Mr…?”
“Hammond.”
“Mr. Hammond. We couldn’t find our-”
“Sit.” Kyle and Mandy took the only seats left, the first two in the front row.
Mandy could tell this wasn’t going to be her best year.

cheesanrice. my story is not abandoned! im just slow. :( sorry. ill try to be faster. ive been so busy lately! but i hav a lil free time cuz of sat's so ill write then, and now. ill have some in a few minutes.

So I was sitting in History today, and I looked over at Mandy. She was staring at me. Mandy is my best friend in the whole world, and I love her to death- but this kinda freaked me out. I mean, since the…incident…things have been a bit weird between us. But when I saw her this morning for the first time since…you know…well I was just so happy. My heart did a little flip-flop. And I asked myself, Kyle, what the hell is this about? Mandy is your best friend! You should expect to be happy when you see her. But something told me that it was more than that. Now I really have no clue what I’m doing; because whenever I look at Christine, I get sweaty and my head starts to hurt, I get nervous, and I feel really good all at the same time. Let me explain. Christine is my ex-girlfriend. We were together for about 4 months, okay, so I counted the days too, but that is unnecessary information for you. We were a great couple, and we really liked eachother. Then she cheated on me with some random kid named Ryan. I was mad. Really mad. We broke up. Then the incident with Mandy happened. I just love Mandy so much, I mean, we DID have that little kindergarten-kiss thing that everyone had. I wonder if she remembers it. See? What was that? Why did I just think that? I wouldn't have thought that last year! God, what is wrong with me?! Anyway, I really don’t want to ruin my and Mandy’s relationship like I did with Christine. That would kill me.
